My third shipped title 🥹 by far the most challenging and rewarding project I’ve ever worked on! So proud of this team🧡
Had to go to two GameStops and a Target before finding one at a Walmart 👀 must be a cool game

So does buying a game at the store just look like the gift card stand at a supermarket soon? If there’s no disc, there’s no need for a box — less manufacturing costs.
This also probably means no cool steel case editions in the future either.
This shit is bleak.
47%+ of all Fortnite game time is spent in third-party games.
Epic is really touting that stat this week and honestly, to me, it’s kinda eye opening.
Fortnite is so much more than the battle royale at this point and has been for a while.

not to say there aren't mentors worth your time (and money) but be skeptical
especially if they haven't shipped anything lately – at Arlington, VA

big if true
my takeaway from this getting so many views is that the people yearn for a third game @starwars
Some of my all-time favorite discourse is gaming twitter’s opinion of how different game engines translate to game features, quality, etc.
This should make for a fun UnrealFest in a few weeks. Who am I seeing out in Chicago?! #UnrealFest

6 years ago today I recorded my first GDC talk…from my apartment 😅 another weird product of the pandemic.
I was super bummed I wouldn’t get to do it live onstage, but happy with how it came out nonetheless 🤺
Mixtape is something that’s going to stick with me for a very long time. It’s so clear and pure in its identity and just swings for the fences. An incredible game whose mechanics actually seal the deal for me 🧵
It’s such a fun roleplay!
Some mechanics are engaging with a perfect photographic moment. Some are playing the hyperbole of teenage memories. Some are just spending time.
But they all encourage play in a meaningful way that makes for a seriously fun and memorable game💎
I loved it and it’d be so much less in another medium like film. Excited to go back to play The Artful Escape soon too. Thanks @bnd_studio!
