Several centuries ago the Pope decreed that all the Jews had to convert to Catholicism or leave Italy.There was a huge outcry from the Jewish community so the Pope offered a deal.
He would hold a religious debate with the leader of the Jewish community. If the Jews won, they could stay in Italy. If the Pope won, they'd have to convert or leave.
The Jewish people met and picked an aged and wise rabbi to represent them in the debate.
However, as the rabbi spoke no Italian and the Pope spoke no Yiddish, both sides agreed that it would be a "silent" debate.
On the chosen day the Pope and rabbi sat opposite each other.
The Pope raised his hand and showed three fingers.
The rabbi looked back and raised one finger and shook it at the Pope.
Next the Pope waved his finger around his head.
The rabbi pointed to the ground where he sat.
The Pope brought out a communion wafer and a chalice of wine.
The rabbi pulled out an apple.
With that, the Pope stood up and declared himself beaten and said that the rabbi was too clever. The Jews could stay in Italy.
Later the cardinals met with the Pope and asked him what had happened.
The Pope said, "First I held up three fingers to represent the Trinity. He responded by holding up a single finger, shaking it to remind me there is still only one God common to both our beliefs.”
"Then, I waved my finger around my head to show him that God is all around us. He responded by pointing to the ground to show that God is also right here with us.”
"I pulled out the wine and wafer to show that God absolves us of all our sins. He pulled out an apple to remind me of the original sin.”
"He beat me at every move and I could not continue."
Meanwhile, the Jewish community gathered to ask the rabbi how he'd won.
"I haven't a clue," the rabbi said. "First, he told me that we had three days to get out of Italy so I shook my finger saying no.”
"Then he tells me that the whole country would be cleared of Jews and I told him that we were staying right here."
"And then what?" asked a woman.
"Who knows?" said the rabbi. "He took out his lunch so I took out mine."

Nice life problems. Some of us are living from hand to mouth, trying to figure out what to do to make life better. Yet here he is, with all the money in the world, behaving like a wild cat, living a dangerous way of life. This boy can travel anywhere in the world, study at any university of his choice, eat whatever he wants, be a better person.
I'm willing to part with an arm and a leg just to have the privileges that he has. Even just for a day.
This path that he has chosen will only lead to death.

Tembo is originally from Chegutu and was working as a gardener at the time of the incident.
A reward of US$3,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Another US$3,000 is being offered for information leading to the recovery of the missing parrot.

Football is a contact sport, and terrible accidents happen. Owono is now being racially abused over the tackle that led to Jesús de Miguel’s death. I’m not defending the challenge, but I refuse to believe he intended to take someone’s life.
It’s heartbreaking how unfair life can be. He should face a temporary suspension, but he doesn’t deserve racial abuse or hatred.
My deepest condolences to Miguel’s family.
Owono should become the best Goalkeeper he can. For Miguel. For himself. When they finally meet one day, Miguel should respect the player Owono became after that life-changing moment.
It was a terrible thing that happened, but football shouldn't lose 2 men over it.
🚨 Jesús Owono's family have reportedly closed ranks around the FC Andorra goalkeeper, who's said to be struggling emotionally following the tragic death of Jesús de Miguel.
Those close to him reportedly say he's taking what happened during the match incredibly hard, blaming himself and getting barely any peace, with his family staying by his side throughout.
This has gone way beyond football. Thinking of both families, and hoping people show some compassion before passing judgement. 🕊️💔

People don't seem to get how hard it is to outrun cars on a motorcycle. Going fast on two wheels is physically exhausting. Doing it in a car is relaxing as hell. You can chase some asshole on a Hayabusa all day long and not break a sweat, because every turn he's taking is physically demanding from his nose to his toes.
The two 50kgs first cross together and lady stays on the opposite bank whilst the other brings the boat for the guy in armor who crosses alone and gives the boat to the lady who comes back to collect the other 50kg and they cross together one last time. Voila!
