Why’d they ruin it?Ideology? It will NEVER be worth it. #Wayback Internet Archiv was to be an interacted historical recording of websites. 2018 we recorded saved dates of pages vanishing. Politics was the common denominator. Once data is redacted edited removed etc an archive no longer be it are, history is factual recordings. Edited history is just a story. It’s really a shame that at some point personal feelings became more important than actual facts. Once great, inspiring and honorable it’s not an archive anymore. It’s just a site of some saved webpages & stories. One of the biggest nerd disappointments in my 3 decades in tech. And that devaluing? Just took one date, one page from one site just one time I only home there’s a master backup that can soon restore EVEEYTHING good and bad.
