When the Titanic sank, it carried millionaire John Jacob Astor IV. The money in his bank account was enough to build 30 Titanics. However, faced with mortal danger, he chose what he deemed morally right and gave up his spot in a lifeboat to save two frightened children.
Millionaire Isidor Straus, co-owner of the largest American chain of department stores, "Macy's," who was also on the Titanic, said:
"I will never enter a lifeboat before other men."
His wife, Ida Straus, also refused to board the lifeboat, giving her spot to her newly appointed maid, Ellen Bird. She decided to spend her last moments of life with her husband.
These wealthy individuals preferred to part with their wealth, and even their lives, rather than compromise their moral principles. Their choice in favor of moral values highlighted the brilliance of human civilization and human nature.

Christina Aguilera should be proud of the life & career she’s built & still has.
Multiple #1 hits & albums, multiple Grammy Awards, over 100 million records sold. Undeniable talent. She’s held it all together in both her professional & personal life.
A very accomplished woman.

I noticed *older* Gen Z has been treating Xtina better than other old gens (except her fans, obviously), and it’s so refreshing to see. they absolutely adore loud and bold women like her, and they don’t seem to care about exploited drama from the 2000s like millennials do.
Christina Aguilera’s “Fighter” music video uses the life cycle of a moth as a metaphor for transformation, turning betrayal and pain into strength. Trapped inside a glass cage, Christina breaks free and begins shedding her old self, with each look telling a different part of her metamorphosis.
The black kimono-inspired cape, often mistaken for an Alexander McQueen design, was actually an original design by costume stylist Carol Beadle. Its backpack-like structure held the pins Christina throws away in the video. The shredded white moth dress reflects her transformation, while the final red-and-black look marks her evolution into a fighter. Beadle even handmade the red skirt by knotting strips of chiffon in her hotel room the night before filming.
Directed by Floria Sigismondi, “Fighter” brings Christina’s story to life through its dark, haunting visuals and symbolism, remaining one of the most iconic videos of the Stripped era 24 years later.
