Absolutely love this passage from Peter Fonagy in his big interview with me for @PreventionPodc #earlyyears @NDNAtalk
Why don't we treat early years education with the same seriousness as the rest of education?
Professor Peter Fonagy makes a compelling plea in his interview with @BrineHealth; invest in the earliest years of a child's life, and recognise that early education is every bit as important as what follows.

But he wants to re-open the biggest squabble this country has had in a century. Maybe @polcurrency were right with their Burnham foot in mouth point last week? Either he doesn’t think before he speaks or, worse, he doesn’t read the agreed lines.

“There will be no early election”. Watch this space if this hits +10.
If ever a clip from @PreventionPodc summed up what this podcast is all about, this is it from Professor Peter Fonagy.

Good. @Jeremy_Hunt and I created HSIB for good reason, to foster a culture of safety through learning. Once again, the Lords does its job.

Not surprised given what was briefed out but sending deepest prayers to Pope Leo for a full recovery.
Pope Leo XIV underwent thoracic surgery at Gemelli Hospital on Tuesday afternoon, as planned, according to a statement from Dr. Luigi Carbone and Professor Stefano Margaritora released by the Holy See Press Office.
The surgeons removed the lower lobe of the Pope’s right lung, and tissue examined during the operation confirmed the diagnosis of “lung adenocarcinoma,” as suspected from tests conducted beforehand.
The Pope was in the operating room approximately three hours, while the operation itself lasted about 90 minutes. The doctors said it was successful and there were no complications.
Pope Leo awoke normally after surgery and, following a brief period of observation, returned to his room on the hospital’s 10th floor, according to the statement.

The madness and utter irony of this is so far from lost on us Spurs fans it’s hard to put into words!
According to BBC Sport, Tottenham are estimated to have faced the biggest potential financial impact from Manchester City’s spending between 2009 and 2018.
Spurs are estimated to have lost around £119.9m in potential prize money.
