"The Jews are a peculiar people: things permitted to other nations are forbidden to the Jews.
Other nations drive out thousands, even millions of people and there is no refugee problem. Russia did it, Poland and Czechoslovakia did it, Turkey threw out a million Greeks, and Algeria a million Frenchmen. Indonesia threw out heaven knows how many Chinese-and no one says a word about refugees. But in the case of Israel the displaced Arabs have become eternal refugees. Everyone insists that Israel must take back every single Arab. Arnold Toynbee calls the displacement of the Arabs an atrocity greater than any committed by the Nazis.
Other nations when victorious on the battlefield dictate peace terms. But when Israel is victorious it must sue for peace. Everyone expects the Jews to be the only real Christians in this world.
Other nations when they are defeated survive and recover but should Israel be defeated it would be destroyed. Had Nasser triumphed last June he would have wiped Israel off the map, and no one would have lifted a finger to save the Jews.
No commitment to the Jews by any government, including our own, is worth the paper it is written on. There is a cry of outrage all over the world when people die in Vietnam or when two Negroes are executed in Rhodesia. But when Hitler slaughtered Jews no one remonstrated with him.
The Swedes, who are ready to break of diplomatic relations with America because of what we do in Vietnam, did not let out a peep when Hitler was slaughtering Jews. They sent Hitler choice iron ore, and ball bearings, and serviced his troop trains to Norway.
The Jews are alone in the world. If Israel survives, it will be solely because of Jewish efforts. And Jewish resources. Yet at this moment Israel is our only reliable and unconditional ally. We can rely more on Israel than Israel can rely on us. And one has only to imagine what would have happened last summer had the Arabs and their Russian backers won the war to realize how vital the survival of Israel is to America and the West in general.
I have a premonition that will not leave me; as it goes with Israel so will it go with all of us. Should Israel perish the holocaust will be upon us."

The goal is international intervention against the only Jewish State. The rhetoric and framing aim toward ethnic cleansing of Israel
The leaked document pictured here is consistently absolutist, causal, and maximalist in its language. Terms such as “pogroms,” “Jewish vigilantes,” and “orchestrating a campaign to depopulate” collapse distinct phenomena and use equivocation with what Jews themselves have suffered. Minimising Jewish suffering and exaggerating events in J&S aims to delegitimise Jewish claims to ancestral land and minimise millennia of targeting. There is only room for one victim group.
Where it frames the Palestinian experience as ethnic cleansing it omits that the Palestinian population of the West Bank has grown substantially since 1967 (from roughly 600,000–800,000 to well over 3 million). Classic ethnic cleansing involves mass forced removal and population collapse.
An internal document from the group that organized Democratic congressional candidate Brad Lander’s trip to the West Bank describes Israel as “genocidal” and engaged in “ethnic cleansing” and says the trip’s goal is to build support for “international intervention” against Israel.
The document, labeled “INTERNAL DOCUMENT: DO NOT SHARE OR CIRCULATE,” is a set of talking points from Protect the Harvest, which recruits foreigners to help make Israel look bad as part of its smear campaign.
The “talking points” obtained by the Washington Free Beacon make totally clear that the group Lander was with has an extreme political agenda that includes demonizing Israel and mobilizing international opposition against it. The three-page document includes the phrase “ethnic cleansing” twelve times and throws in the “genocidal” blood libel, too. “Building on the Israeli military’s genocidal assault on Gaza, ethnic cleansing has been largely normalized in Israeli-Jewish society and enjoys widespread public opinion support amongst Israeli Jews. Ethnic cleansing is not an idle threat,” the document claims, inaccurately. “By bringing hundreds of internationals to the ground, we are helping grow the emerging consensus that international intervention is necessary to stop the ongoing ethnic cleansing of the West Bank.”
The intention is clear. To delegitimise Israel via Judea and Samaria

Owen Jones has, for the last three years, revealed himself to be a man of enormous courage, integrity and truthfulness. No one should think for a minute that his relentless defence of Palestinian rights and historical truth is easy or comes without heavy personal costs. Throughout the genocide in Gaza, Jones remained a tireless bur rigorous and supremely decent voice. I suspect part of what initially moved him was the strong displeasure in being treated like an idiot by the official propaganda – a noble motive in itself – but there is no question he has been genuinely touched by the images of suffering arriving daily from Gaza. And yet, how does his intellectual fixation on a battle between left and right help us understand the horrors of Gaza, or move us to stop them? My impression is that the opposite has happened. People look at what is happening in Gaza and ask themselves what a person on the right or on the left should think. In many cases this is ideology. In most, simply careerism and group association. Jones shows how limited the perspective really is. How about, like the author himself, asking how a human being should feel?
