if you overhear most ppl, they’re likely just discussing what they’re going to consume next.
something like:
“we should do this.”
“i’m going there next week.”
“did you see that movie?”
“we’re trying this restaurant.”
“i might go to italy.”
it’s rare to find ppl that tend to discuss what they’re trying to change, create, or understand way way more.
outsized growth requires solving new uncommoditized problems.
a year ago that was:
- set up meta ads
- make a good onboarding
- make some good creatives
if you could figure that stuff out you were pretty good to go, but it was honestly hard to do back then bc there were not so many examples/ low friction services to get you set up fast on it.
if you are entering the game now, or in my case refocusing on growth, there are a new set of important problems to figure out before they have mainstream solutions. Your edge is to be first or second mover on these types of problems.
The issue is not only being able to find solutions to these problems, but it is identifying what they are.
Market is fast but you can catch up and get ahead if you focus and hustle.
