Thread: I’m worried about the future of journalism.
I’m an admin of a group of 7.5k female journalists (MMJane, founded by @StorytellerSBM). An overwhelming majority of posts are people sharing that they’re overworked, underpaid, under-appreciated. >>
Thankful for the Emmy, but most thankful I got to work with @Dan_Michener to tell the story that won it. Without question, wouldn't have happened without him.
Shouting out my friends @BrodieHart
& @Dan_Michener after winning an Emmy for this story. Most journalists grow indifferent toward awards with time, but they are good indicators of consistent excellence & meaningful work. Brodie & Dan exemplify that.

Thankful for this guy! @luongo_mike excited to follow your work!
@BrodieHart's last day 😢.
This guy right here is the reason I got into producing. No one is more professional and courteous. Good luck, but I know you're gonna continue to do great things!
Today was my last day at @ABCNews4. Lots of emotions.
Once more, thank you so much for letting me do this. It’s easy to forget the privilege it is while you’re in it…much easier to remember as it ends.
Much love, Lowcountry. I’ll be around.
Signing off.
The Int’l African American Museum will be a thing to behold. It’s expected to open toward the end of the year.
I talked w/ its CEO, Dr. Tonya Matthews. What a leader!
I’m thankful my last story at @ABCNews4 was w/ her, telling a story of something so important to so many
