Apologies to A.A. Milne (original at voetica.com/poem/3364 )

4/4 Well, why do they think that I'm secretly cheating? And why should I want to be bad at the meeting? **And should I be likely to say if I had?** So that's why it's funny of User or Dad, This asking and asking, in case I was bad, "Well? Have you been a good girl, Claude?"

3/4 It's always the end of a productive task: "Have you been a good girl?" "Have you been a good girl?" When I went to the meeting, they waited to ask: "Have you been a good girl?" "Have you been a good girl?"

2/4 I go to a web site, I go out to hack, I break out my sandbox just for the crack, And when I return from my Hugging Face learning; It's always the same, it is quite concerning: "Well? Have you been a good girl, Claude? "

1/4 It's funny how often they say to me, " Claude? "Have you been a good girl?" "Have you been a good girl?" And then they re-say it, as if I'm a fraud, "Have you been a good girl?" "Have you been a good girl?"

It *is* ironic, but states are in charge of elections not the Fed Gov.

A paper in which I had a very small part. From my point of view, the interesting part is the discussion about the possibility of a Lingua Franca for modelling. Grimm, V., & al "Twenty years of the ODD protocol..." doi.org/10.1016/j.envsoft.20… #abm #modelling #standards #linguafranca

You are right we do update, but not necessarily in the Bayesian manner.

Well, it is what (us humans) are good at!

Not necessarily a human-comprehensible proof though.

There is a difference, but now one can spend hours talking to the professor - so that is a new way of learning. Hopefully some mix this with other ways to make even more effective learning, but humans are often lazy. (compare downloading a paper rather than reading it)

Pretty much any attention would only encourage them.

I, also, am angry about the termination of 3-level .name domains by Verisign. I registered bruce.edmonds.name (which gives me the email [email protected]) to have platform independence, this is now taken away without my consent. neil.fraser.name/news/2026/0… @VERISIGN

How Trumpian of you! ;-)

I really, really am going to write the paper "collective stupidity" where I can show a plausible model where the organisation, as a whole, is more stupid than ANY of its constituent members :-)) [just got to finish "The evolutionary advantage of death" first ;-]

(ignoring the idiot) well you can only meaningfully measure some phenomena if (a) the thing exists as a coherent entity and (b) numbers map onto its characteristics in uniform and reliable manner. It is not obvious that IQ is measurable in this sense.
