Over three years ago, we started building ChainZoku with one clear goal: build a fun, original universe blending gaming, Japanese culture, fashion, Web3, and storytelling. Two weeks ago marked our 2-year on-chain anniversary, and with Chapter 2 about to drop on Abstract, it’s the right time to look back: > 2 years ago, we planned to mint 7,878 fully 3D Zokus > Only minted a portion but never stopped building > Focused hard on product, and constantly shipping for the community > Floor stayed above mint, and support stayed strong > Airdropped the rest of the collection a year later > Hit over 1,000 ETH in total volume across collections > Dropped some of the cleanest trailers and visuals in the space > Won multiple awards for our banger website > Our gamified ecosystem is still one of the coolest & most unique experiences out there > All done without VCs, just belief and grind Over the past 2 years, we’ve been fixing what we lacked: > Building stronger connections with founders, creators, and collectors > Strengthening the brand, partnerships, and ecosystem > Onboarding new believers > Focusing on building diversified revenue streams across our verticals > Staying true to our long-term vision Now, with Chapter 2, it all connects: > Dynamic NFTs > Physical products > A living, evolving world > And actual gameplay that blends two sides: → The RPG side: where you explore, fight mobs, gather loot, interact with NPCs, and shape your character’s story → The party side: a rotation of mini-games (think Mario Party), where you earn XP, unlock new items, and just have fun.
