Sad to think that the wildness of today’s college football outcomes today will have largely no real significance once the playoff expands to 24 teams.
I never thought I’d long for more gambling ads, but this rotation of explicit ED commercials mixed with “Other Mommy” trailers for the @MLB playoffs has me yelling “close your eyes!” to my kids more times than I can count.
A post in honor of the 2026 @Braves season ❤️

Con: MLB put the @Braves at the worst possible time for me to watch the game with my family live.
Pro: I recorded the game and watched it tonight while acting like I had no idea what was going to happen.
You watch some portion of ~120 games with your kids only to have mlb stick their playoff games at 1pm CT on a Tuesday/Wednesday so no one can watch the game together.
Then, if they make a run to the World Series, they’ll start games so late they end around 1am.
No one makes mlb harder to watch than mlb.
Regardless go @Braves ♥️.
My son has always loved @MoneyyyMikeee but seeing his Lightning McQueen sliding mitt tonight took his affection to a whole new level. #KaChow
Strangely, it feels like the American public who has no ties to any of these organizations successfully bullied @MACSports & @WMU_Football to stand up for MAC and WMU Football. 🤷♂️
Ronald Acuña gonna name his next son “Citizens Bank Acuña.”

Maybe the worst part of this Michigan-WMU fiasco is @MACSports issuing a statement supporting the @B1Gfootball and disowning their own about 15 minutes after the event occurred.
“A friend of my enemy gives me two people not to trust.”
“Denial, which fosters a lack of clarity, is the glue that allows the disease of dysfunction to thrive. Cloaked in denial, the disease is passed on to the next generation with amazing consistency. The basic language of denial is: ‘don’t talk, don’t trust, don’t feel.’”
“Recovery takes effort, but the good news is that recovery takes only half the effort that it took to stay in destructive behaviors.”
I found Michael Lewis’ podcast on sports gambling particularly insightful (and sad) - particularly how these companies prioritize those with addictive tendencies while not allowing those who win regularly to continue on their platforms - podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…
What’s up with @espn.com making their featured article about the destruction of gambling addiction while their programs and personalities increasingly orbit around promoting gambling? 🤷♂️

I grow weary of the frequency of “emotional health” coaching/cohorts being little more than escapist experiences that only grow dread of returning to reality and responsibility.
Health is not about frequency of vacations that give a taste of the absence of struggle, but acquiring the skills of struggling well in one’s real life.
