We get so hung up with labeling COVERAGES & I get it, bc it builds a picture for us, but it’s not always accurate! All that matters is WHERE guys are & WHAT they are capable of covering from there! I created a “10 Zone Theory” based on how I saw defenses and read concepts! The idea is there are 10 Zones the D has to cover - they have 7 (sometimes 8, so they can’t cover them all) guys to cover them. As an O we have a concept (doesn’t attack all zones either) that attacks certain zones, my job as a QB is to recognize if my concept is attacking/outnumbering the zones they can’t cover with current look! Simply the game as quickly as possible… key to playing position IMO!

Really enjoyed this talk with @CoachRonquillo on adjusting the wheel play in the Zone 10 Offense! Coach has a wealth of knowledge and Championship success and we appreciate his time.youtube.com/watch?v=6mO6JYtX… @Run_TheDamnBaII @CodyTCameron @AZHSFB @AZFBnetwork
