Grazing 19 may be shaping up nicely for spring herds but watch out for ketosis. Kind winter + high protein grass = big ketosis risk in freshly calved cows. Lots of star gazing and drunk looking cows about at the moment on many units!

Big risk of hypomagnesaemia or grass staggers this week with the wet weather and rapid grass growth if grazing. Worth baring in mind and supplementing magnesium early if needed. – at West Midlands, England
