For all those who blame renewables for the high price of energy, this is the reality.
When renewables are providing the highest proportion of energy to the grid, the price drops. When gas does it, it more than doubles.
It is FF's that keep energy prices high, renewables lower it!

Britain's debt now exceeds £3 trillion
Public sector borrowing hit £24.52 billion last month, higher than expected
Inflation increased to 3.5%, while private sector wage growth was only 3%, meaning wages are declining in real terms (apart from in the public sector, where wages increased by 6.3%, more than twice as much)
Labour is looking to further increase taxes on investment, which will lower investment and hit productivity, leading to lower wages.
It's a doom loop.
Absolutely appalling and a damning indictment of our education system and society!

Labour was warned that its tax assault on the betting industry would result in severe job losses. The 1,400 jobs lost at Paddy Power is just the latest in a string of employment reductions that the industry has blamed squarely on Labour's tax hikes.
Now Labour is going to apply the same approach to the banking industry. Unfortunately fiscal policy designed on the premise that "no one likes the banks much: let's thump them with some tax hikes," is an economically illiterate approach that will cause severe economic damage.
Tax something more and you get less of it.

One of the great advantages America has enjoyed over Britain & the rest of Europe in recent decades is its unparalleled access to capital - allowing businesses to invest & grow, and helping to raise living standards accordingly.
If Labour imposes a £multi-billion tax raid on banks, it not only undermines one of Britain's greatest competitive strengths - it also attacks the very access to capital we desperately need to unlock growth.
Just bite the bullet, stand up to Labour backbenchers, & tackle the ballooning welfare bill. The productive part of the economy is already saddled with too much to carry.

I first knew David in 1997 when I joined the Young Conservatives as he became MP for Southend West. He shaped my political years.
It was an honour to lay flowers on behalf of our Southend Conservative family.
The town he loved will never forget him. Now a city in his memory.
If anyone is still in any doubt about the difference between Waymo (other inferior self driving systems are available) and Tesla FSD, then @TeslaJigsaw does a great job of once again showing the reality.
As a reminder, @Waymo cannot operate unless it is pre-programmed with HD maps of the areas it will drive in.
Tesla needs NO such pre-programming and drives based only on what it sees in front of it, just like a human (only far safer), not a windows PC!

This is an extremely sinister development and should concern and worry every citizen that cares about civil liberties and freedoms.
🚨Gosport locked down so a migrant boat can land
Police have put the entire town under a Section 34 dispersal order until Tuesday morning. Residents can be ordered to leave and not return. Any protest is penned into a car park under Section 14. Face coverings are banned.
This is not aimed at the dinghy. It is aimed at the people who live there.
Last month hundreds turned out in the same town over a reported landing.
Arrests followed. The boat was diverted to Dover. Crossings this year are still in the tens of thousands. The establishment’s answer is to restrict the locals, not the route.
Public order law is being used to manage a policy the public never voted for.
