APPEAL FOR WITNESSES - NOTTS COUNTY (A)
We’re appealing for help following an incident involving a fellow Wednesdayite ahead of Tuesday evening’s game at Notts County.
At approximately 7.20pm on Tuesday, a Sheffield Wednesday supporter was struck by a vehicle outside Hooters on London Road, Nottingham, while crossing the road.
The supporter suffered a fractured knee and is awaiting further scans to establish the full extent of their injuries.
We understand there were a number of football supporters in the area at the time, and we’re hoping someone may have witnessed what happened.
Did you see the incident? Were you crossing the road nearby? Do you have any dashcam footage?
Even the smallest detail could make a difference.

ALT RAINBOW OWLS STATEMENT - RE: TRANSPHOBIC INCIDENT Last month, one of our trans Rainbow Owls members experienced transphobic abuse on Instagram from a fellow Sheffield Wednesday supporter. At the member’s request, we reported the incident to Kick It Out on their behalf. The report was then forwarded to Sheffield Wednesday FC. Following an internal investigation, Sheffield Wednesday FC confirmed the individual's connection to the club and issued them with a club ban. The individual will not be able to return to football without first attending a one-to-one education session, delivered by Kick It Out through its Fan Education Programme. These sessions aim to help fans understand the impact of discriminatory behaviour in football.
ALT RAINBOW OWLS STATEMENT - RE: TRANSPHOBIC INCIDENT We’ve seen a recent spike in homophobic and transphobic abuse towards Rainbow Owls and our members on social media, reflecting a wider problem in football. Reports of anti-LGBTQ+ abuse to Kick It Out, both online and at games, rose by a fifth in 2025/26, while football-related reports of transphobic abuse on social media doubled last season. Reporting discrimination takes strength, but it is vital in making football safer. Even when an individual report doesn’t lead to the outcome hoped for, it helps build a clearer picture of discriminatory behaviour in football and can help shape future action. We’re proud that Sheffield Wednesday FC continue to take a zero-tolerance stance towards homophobia and transphobia, as shown by their prompt, professional and robust response in this case.

We can continue as we are, cross our fingers and hope that things are going to improve.

Incredibly disappointed the 'Trust' feel this is an appropriate question to ask its members.
Transparency, independence and fans interests cannot be served best by having a foot in both camps.

Sheffield Wednesday Supporters’ Trust Statement
The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters’ Trust welcomes today’s announcement that our Chair, James Silverwood, has been invited to join the Sheffield Wednesday Board of Directors in an unpaid, Non-Executive capacity.
The Trust Board is fully supportive of James, who has worked tirelessly on behalf of Wednesday supporters throughout one of the most challenging periods in the Club’s history.
Whilst the invitation has been extended to James in an individual capacity, the Trust Board has already unanimously identified James as the person we would wish to see take up such an opportunity.
Despite the invitation being personal to him, James has been clear from the outset that he would not wish to proceed without first consulting the Trust’s membership.
We believe this demonstrates his commitment to the democratic principles upon which the Trust is built and his determination to ensure supporters remain at the heart of everything we do.
The Trust will therefore put the proposal to its members for a formal vote, allowing them to determine whether they support James accepting the invitation.
Alongside this development, the Trust will also have representation on the Club’s Fan Advisory Board (FAB), providing a formal platform through which we can raise issues, contribute to discussions and represent the views and interests of our membership directly with the Club.
Together, these developments represent a significant opportunity to strengthen communication, improve transparency and build a closer working relationship between the Club and its supporters.
We welcome the Club’s commitment to meaningful supporter engagement and thank the ownership for recognising the importance of involving supporters in the future of Sheffield Wednesday.
We look forward to building on this positive relationship and playing our part in moving the Club forward.

I am placing one of my 3D printers up for sale.
It is a Bambu P1S. For its price bracket is probably the best printer money can buy, and is perfect for someone who’s just starting out, or an already advanced user.
The printer has been maintained once a week religiously, which consists of a deep clean, all guide rails and z-Axis screws cleaned and greased. All fans are cleaned daily, and have been since new.
This printer is only 8 months old and is no longer required.
Any questions are welcome, I am willing to accept £200 for just the printer (bottom section) or £300 for the printer and the AMS system which then enables to printer to print in up to 4 colours(highly recommend).
