We are in the Shropshire Star 🙂 shropshirestar.com/news/loca…

We had the pleasure of meeting Megan who told us her amazing story of when she left school. Megan's job is in Cybersecurity and the children really impressed her with their knowledge and understanding of staying safe online. Thank you, Megan. #buildwas #assembly

One week to go. Come visit our lovely little school with fantastic views of the Shropshire Hills. #shropshire #buildwas #shropshirehills #telfordandwrekin #shropshirehillsaonb

Well done to our Stars of the Week! 📷 We have also given our brand new Values stickers to children who have impressed their teachers by showing our value of the term: Respect! #proud #school #buildwas #schoolvalues

This morning in our celebration, I took time to share with the children how fabulous our teachers (and wider staff are). #teachersday

Good morning please see a letter from the National Grid about 4 weeks of upgrade works on the Much Wenlock Road starting on the 10th of October.

During the first week of #BlackHistoryMonth Willow Class read a story about Rosa Parks, Beech Class followed @tessasanderson and her Olympic journey, Oak Class tried some Caribbean fruits, and Holly Class learnt about Mary Seacole and her nursing skills!

Today is World Mental Health Day and together in assembly we discussed what mental health is and how we can support ourselves when we are struggling with our emotions. There is more information about mental health here t.ly/82ZCx #WorldMentalHealthDay2023

I came in this morning and saw lots of wanted posters inside and outside of school. Willow Class shared with me the video of the Gingerbread Man escaping their class (he even stole a door fob). Where has the The Gingerbread Man gone? #whereisthegingerbreadman

We would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to our PTA for securing school with a donation from @ReadforGoodUK 😁 We hope that with these new books we can continue to ignite a love of reading in our children 📚

A huge thank you to Ben at @ShropshireSRB for introducing our children to the wonderful sport of Squash! The children have thoroughly enjoyed learning a new sport! 🎾

Yesterday we had our first OPAL lunchtime. It was fabulous to see the creativity, teamwork and all children so engaged. We can't wait to see how our OPAL journey progresses over the next few months. @Katkin181 #opalschools #opalschools

Today as part of our new look celebration assemblies, we also celebrated the life of Queen Elizabeth II. Well done to those who received one of the awards, including our first ever recipients of hot chocolate Friday. ⭐️💛🌈

Today across school we have celebrated #RSEday The focus was on diversity and we all spent time thinking about how different, special and unique we all are. In Oak class, we also thought about how to ensure everyone is included. This embraced our school ethos of inclusivity. 💙

Two new trees donated by Buildwas Parish Council and planted today by the High Sheriff of Shropshire will form a gateway to our forest school. A memory for the children cherish as both they and the trees grow and flourish. #queensplatinumjubilee #queensgreencanopy #thankyou
