There is something deeply wrong with a political system that allows one trillionaire to buy his own personal U.S. Senator.

everybody has a price
and where would it show more clearly than in crypto, a space where almost everyone came for the money
i came here for money too. but there's a story i almost never tell
i started playing football at 6, in the Dynamo Kyiv academy. then Obolon, where after the club went bankrupt and Obolon-Brovar was created, our graduating year trained and played with the first team. then RVUFK, where i played against loads of pro teams and players who now play for top clubs in Europe
at one point i was one of the best in my age group: top scorer of the city league, regional team, a call-up to the Ukraine U15 camp. but right then, at a friendly tournament, going for a ball with Viktor Kovalenko (ex-Ukraine national team), i tore my ACL. after that injury i was never quite the same player
i had trials with pro U19–21 clubs, but Ukrainian football back then was rotten with corruption. the two clubs that offered me a contract were regulars in fixed matches, friends who played there told me. so i said no
then a friend and i went to Israel with basically no money, hoping to get a trial somewhere. i found an agent on Facebook (my first cold DMs), and he got us a trial at Hapoel Afula. they took us, we went through preseason, started games, signed a contract
then the president called us in and asked when we'd change our citizenship. turned out the agent had told the club we were Jewish repatriates. we had no idea. they tore up the contract and we were out on the street
i came home, played at amateur level and waited for a chance to try another country, because i'd seen plenty of friends do it. but money problems forced me to quit football and find a way to earn. eventually i ended up in crypto
i still think about the chances i lost, and how i didn't put in enough work at maybe the most important moments. no amount of money will change that
if your dream is a Rolex, ask yourself whether it was sold to you. i realised happiness is in much simpler things, and you don't need millions for it
now my priority is doing what actually brings me joy, and building a new dream that at least touches the one i never got to live
for me that's @Form8HQ. fantasy football on solana, where i combined the love for football i've carried for years with crypto, what i've been doing for the last 4 years
i'm not here to lecture anyone. i just shared a bit of my life and how i got where i am now. but i'll ask one thing
are you really sure you need that money at any price?

you were lied to twice
first, when they told you memecoins will make you a millionaire. in a month, 1 wallet out of 414k (0.0002%) made more $1M
second, when they told you 97% of pump traders lose money. in this table the "$0–500" row is coloured red, even though it's profit. look at the numbers themselves and 69% are in loss, not 97%
- 93% stayed within ±$500
- over $50k: 17 won, 20 lost
- over $500: 13.2k wallets won, 14.1k lost
so yes, most people still lose on memecoins, and you almost certainly won't become a millionaire, but reality is way more boring than headlines
what if you were actually lied to three times?

in a week we're going to find out this was a drone made entirely of lightweight plastic or something
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The underbody photo shows the prototype's fan suction system for downforce (up to ~2G), per Tesla, not an empty plastic drone shell.

second bounty on Superteam Earn, @Form8HQ again
@SuperteamUKR ideathon: 41 ideas for the Colosseum hackathon
- no callouts
- no rugs
- no paid shilling.
just building something real and getting paid for it
superteam is still a cheat code
besides the support, local superteams have one more underrated thing
@SuperteamEarn: paid bounties and tasks from Solana projects
my first one was a CTO roast of my project. @Form8HQ took 1st.
one more reason superteam is a cheat code.

hey, @solana you already have 82M Galaxy holders on your network
what about the 1.45B people who watch the Premier League?
> 13M+ of them already play Fantasy Premier League
> 60K even pay for tools to play better
but most have almost no shot at real rewards
@Form8HQ fixes that: fantasy football on solana where the managers themselves build the USDC rewards pool every gameweek, without even noticing the blockchain
the first gameweek is settled, rewards claimed and next one is LIVE
Form8 Fantasy Premier League registration on @solana is LIVE
The first managers are already building the rewards pool for Gameweek 7.
Pick your team, choose a captain and compete for USDC rewards.

Week 4: DEGENBID at the @colosseum Crypto World’s Fair hackathon.
This week, I brought more of the community experience into one place:
-Added Web3 projects alongside tokens and NFTs each with its own page
-Built a community map to discover projects by city
Added token charts, recent trades, holders, and built-in buying and selling
-Launched Season 2 and UPBIDER on October 10 with standings, competition tickets, and personal progress
-Improved mobile search, bids, trading, and tournament navigation
-Expanded Telegram with BID purchases, team bids, and shareable project cards
Biggest lesson: launching is only the beginning. People need to see where they stand and what to do next.
Next: bring more communities into the competition and learn what keeps them coming back.
Thanks for following the build

2 months ago i started rebuilding @Form8HQ almost from scratch
right in front of you, new name, new logo, the move to @solana.
today the first gameweek kicked off: 20 managers, 100 USDC in pool.
thanks to everyone who helped pick the name, gave me tons of feedback and supported the project's page. without you this would've been way harder.
this is just the start, there's still a long road ahead to really make it.

co-sign every word.
you, @solana_sailor, @SolanaSensei and @FabianoSolana are driving solana on CT, and every bit of that respect is earned
let me add my story. for 2+ years i was building on another chain, and then it basically turned its back on the community and small builders
so i had to choose where to go next
i looked at the long term, not quick hype, and solana won on every criterion, especially because of local @SuperteamUKR
because superteam is a cheat code. in a few months i got more support from them than on my whole previous journey
that said, i'm not devaluing that time. it was necessary, and the best things i took from it are the people and the skills
but @solana really is the best place
- for small and big builders
- for degens
- for communities
- for me
- for form8
Solana changed my life.
i’ve been overwhelmed by the amount of support, friendship, and motivation i've received from everyone in Solana Summit Singapore today
literally, whenever i introduce myself or show my pfp to someone from the community,
i get recognized, cheered, and told like:
"you have some of the highest quality content on CT"
"thank you for keeping up with what's happening with superteams"
"you're the emerging creator with the highest potential"
at some point today, i genuinely couldn’t believe my ears anymore
forever grateful and appreciate and value every single person in the Solana community
i was also positively surprised to see how much the Solana Foundation cares about smaller creators,
literally got asked by a senior role: "What can we do better for creators?" - this doesn’t exist anywhere else.
solana cares. solana has the culture.
and @superteam is… super.
im just a regular guy, active in his favourite niche, now i have REAL friends all over the world
people invite me to their countries, introduce me to their friends, and genuinely want me around
thailand, spain, netherlands, malaysia, everywhere.
TLDR: IRL events are the alfa. Solana is unmatched. Superteam is a cheat code.
next stop: Breakpoint 🇬🇧
Solana changed my life.

was about to complain that while normal people are at Solana Summit in Singapore, I’m spending another full day on minor addons, payloads, tiny UI fixes, and a @colosseum pitch deck.
then @SolanaGaming followed @Form8HQ, so it’s not for nothing.
keep building. celebrate the small wins.

We have a product.

Money buys runway.
It doesn’t buy demand.

Week 3: DEGENBID at the @colosseum Crypto World’s Fair hackathon.
This week, I focused on speed and making participation easier:
- Optimized the UI, database, indexing, and blockchain requests removed duplicate calls and unnecessary loading
- Redesigned mobile navigation, project cards, and invites
- Invite links now take users straight to supporting a team. After payment, they return to the board and see the result
- Tested real payments and the core user journey
- Made the rules interactive — nobody wants to read a wall of text
Biggest lesson: every extra step makes participation harder.
Next: Season 2 + a competition between communities. Rally your community, push your project up the leaderboard, and compete for prizes.
Thanks for following the build!
