Good one coming from Adamawa SG and Gov Fintiri.
We sincerely thank the Adamawa State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency, @GovernorAUF Umaru Fintiri, for its continued patronage and confidence in Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing.

Replying to @eta_habyb
People don’t understand just how dysfunctional governance is at the subnational level. Introduce state police, and some governors would owe personnel eight months’ salaries, refuse to procure adequate arms, and fail to invest in proper training. In most states, state police would simply become glorified vigilante groups. Sadly, there’s little to no incentive for effective performance or accountability of state government.

Hmm...
3 years after passing of Electricity Act 2023. State governors are tip-toeing around the additional responsibility. Good luck to those expecting magic with State Police.

This is very true
A lot of times, we, myself included, talk about market-reflective electricity tariffs and emphasise the need for consumers to pay prices that reflect the true cost of generating and supplying electricity. But let us not pretend that these costs exist in isolation. The cost of generating electricity is also a function of operating inefficiencies, decaying infrastructure, poor maintenance, high inflation, FX instability and other structural problems within the system. These are costs that are peculiar to Nigeria and, to a large extent, reflect years of poor policy decisions, inadequate investment and government failure. All of these feed into the cost of generating and supplying electricity, and by extension, the so-called market-reflective tariff. Yes, consumers should pay prices that reflect the cost of electricity. But when do we begin to have an equally serious conversation about the inefficiencies that keep driving these costs upwards in the first place? Are we simply going to allow tariffs to keep rising to accommodate every increase in operating costs, regardless of whether those costs are justified or could have been avoided? At what point do we hold policymakers and operators accountable for the inefficiencies within the system? Can we also emphasise that? There is something fundamentally wrong with a system where consumers are repeatedly asked to pay more, not necessarily because the service has improved, but because the cost of delivering that service keeps rising due to structural inefficiencies. And consumers, who have very limited alternatives, are left to bear the consequences.

Oh! She knows already. Hey dear pay no attention to those few. Nigerians are patriotic and love their country. God bless you ❤️
Any good news about Nigeria 🇳🇬 is either you are paid or you are fan fooling. But bad news is true! You can say good things about other African country and that would not be debatable🤔

If Nigeria must progress, Nigerians themselves must turn a new leaf.
President Tinubu gave 90 CNG Buses each to NLC and TUC with money and they never mentioned it until fight break out among them. See life...

I recall when she's the leader of a mob & the mantra "Peter Obi or nothing" "PO must be on the ballot" & all. She ensured everyone who wasn't on the same page with them was bullied & defamed. Today she isn't on the same side with them & she's getting a taste of her own medicine
Serah Ibrahim former media Aide to Peter Obi. welcomes the “most outstanding Nigerian on the ballot” Gov. Seyi Makinde as he unveils his manifesto to Reset Nigeria.

Dr Tunji Alausa!!!
As part of our commitment to skilling up 5 million Nigerians by 2030, we have partnered with the Bank of Agriculture to establish the Renewed Hope Tertiary Agricultural and Entrepreneurship Programme, creating opportunities for practical skills development, entrepreneurship and employment. Through this initiative, 20 tertiary institutions to start will be supported to transform underutilised institutional farmlands into commercial agricultural hubs, with over 500,000 hectares targeted for productive use. Each participating institution will have access to between ₦1 billion and ₦2 billion in financing, alongside tractors, modern farm equipment, improved seedlings, irrigation facilities and technical support. The programme will primarily benefit students, unemployed graduates and alumni, equipping them with practical agricultural and entrepreneurial skills, while also creating opportunities for staff and members of host communities to participate in commercial farming. Beyond boosting food production, the initiative will connect classroom learning and research with practical enterprise, repositioning our tertiary institutions as centres of agricultural innovation, commercial production and job creation. Ultimately, we are investing in people, building skills and creating pathways for young Nigerians to become entrepreneurs, employers and active contributors to national food security. This is education translated into skills, skills translated into enterprise, and enterprise translated into opportunity.

"Buhari is dead but Buharinomics lives on"
We don’t need this policy . They need to repay their loans. That is how we can make this policy sustainable

Good stuff and well said.
Nigerians could be myopic, they have a layered approach to development on the contrary development is actually dynamic. An average Nigerian would tell you, electricity should be the first focus, then there are no good roads, then there is insecurity, people are hungry……. They believe all those need to be solved first, before you can innovate, the problem is we often think from an inductive perspective. Helium building that, don’t even need or have to be for Nigerians, if they can build it and it works, they can sell it to foreign countries and make crazy bucks. China built themselves with the same approach. Things are mutually exclusive, you guys are always unnecessarily focused on singular issues and think if not solved things can’t move forward. When paystack started, was there electricity? Was there good roads ? When Moniepoint, flutterwave, all the new companies we celebrate now and everyone wants to work for was Nigeria perfect then ? Do you know the immense contribution they bring to the economy now ? Flutterwave was apparently building “a castle in the sky” back then also, allow people dream, allow them build, allow them fail, it’s all part of life. You can choose to focus on the basic everyday Nigerian issue, and build to resolve that, everyone can build, that’s how a country grows.

"In his resignation letter, Mr Obi said his decision to leave the ADC was not based on personal grievances but on the party’s internal divisions, legal disputes, external influence, and an increasingly hostile political environment" The eye service doesn't look good on you sir.
Do not Undermine Democracy I have received with shock the news of an order by the Federal High Court in Abuja nullifying the emergence of the Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and all the actions he has taken. This is unsettling and surprising. I do not challenge the ruling of the court. The court of law is constituted to determine disputes according to the law. My concern is that three months before a general election, it is in the public interest to have certainty. It is not good to have too many uncertainties about candidates and parties a few weeks before a presidential election. This instability is obviously engineered by the ruling party, just as they have done against me in the Labour Party and continue to do so to close down civic space for a robust campaign. It is also from the same rulebook that manufactures violence against us in our campaigns. One mark of democracy is that at all times, it is voters and not courts that choose leaders. I trust in the judiciary. As a public officer, I have shown deep respect for the judiciary. I appeal that we protect the integrity of democracy by not undermining the free and fair choice of candidates. The sustenance of democracy in Nigeria, in the midst of encroaching military rule in West Africa, should strengthen our resolve to protect opposition politics and not stamp out opposition parties. It is because of the importance of opposition to the sustenance of democracy that I have always promised that, as President, I will take a special interest in ensuring opposition parties are stable and thriving, and that opposition candidates are not persecuted out of electoral contests. This is a time to strengthen our democracy by allowing the opposition to thrive. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Whilst one may be convinced about the economic reforms of this govt & the progress it has made, they cannot but ignore the conflicting stark reality in this post & on our daily living. To therefore translate these reforms to the citizenry is as a matter of fact an emergency.
I woke up this morning thinking about how hard things have become. We're not living anymore. We're just existing. Things that should be basic, like food, rent, transport, light and school fees, have become luxuries. You work twice as hard just to prove you're trying, and at the end of the month there's still nothing left to show for it. Drive through any street and you'll see grown men and women begging. Some of them once had jobs, dreams and dignity. I can't blame them. The system that was meant to protect them failed them. Every day, prices go up. Every day, we're told to be patient, that the reforms will work, that we should wait a few more years. But how long can a hungry person wait? As someone who talks about money every day, this one hurts me the most. I tell people to invest from the little they have. But for millions of Nigerians, that little isn't even enough to survive. You can't invest money that has already been eaten by rent and food before it lands. Go anywhere in the world and you'll find Nigerians working harder than anyone in the room. We are not lazy. We are not unserious. Life here has just become unfair, and the wealth sits in the hands of a few. Our brightest minds keep leaving. Doctors, engineers, creatives, builders. They didn't leave because they hate home. They left because home stopped making room for them. And if you choose to stay and do things the right way, the system frustrates you until it breaks something in you. To those who benefit from this, who loot what was meant for millions and think it will last forever, remember this. Everything in this life is vanity. The pain you've caused doesn't disappear. One day it comes back to the same table you're eating from. But I refuse to give up completely. Things can still change if we become intentional and stop accepting this as normal. The 2027 election is coming. Please, vote with your conscience. Don't sell your vote for a bag of rice and ₦5,000. That money finishes in a day. The suffering lasts four years. Think about your children. Think about the generation coming after us. They deserve a country that doesn't punish them for being born here. We deserve better. Nigeria deserves better. Shalom.

One of the most underrated life hacks.
Invest in how you speak. Invest in how you write. Communication is a massive contributor to how your life will turn out.

😂😂😂
Peter Obi has nothing to campaign with if you take away money he left as a governor. That's practically his entire campaign.
