I promise I'm not trying to make everything into Caleb Williams disrespect but "well Bowles is gonna blitz him" he is literally already the most blitzed QB in the NFL. He's been blitzed on 53% of his fuckin dropbacks. The Pats and Seahawks defenses are very good. Didn't matter.
What's wild is that even if you remove that game, the Bears are still in first place here.

The Chicago Bears/Jordan thing is simple if you lived it. It's like music. Michael Jordan was the biggest rockstar on the planet and he was ours. But ultimately the city had/has a longer infatuation with a bigger genre. It honestly speaks more to MJ's impact which is lost here.

Ozzy Trapilo and Theo Benedet going through individual drills at practice. Benedet was limited today (shoulder) after being listed as DNP for Wednesday’s walk thru.
Benedet and Trapilo had been splitting reps at left tackle but Benedet got the full snap count in Seattle, which was matchup based per OC Press Taylor.
If Benedet, who has a harness on his right shoulder, can’t go vs. Tampa Bay or is on a snap count, is Trapilo ready to start?
Taylor: “I think being able to rotate Ozzy in has been great for him to kind of build back up to what a potential load could be in terms of starting, playing more than he has. I feel pretty good about the path we've put him on to be able to do that if needed.”

Has Caleb gotten better at playing "in structure"? Sure. That's normal quarterback development. He was never this street ball myth, his exceptional ability out of structure is a bonus, not a crutch. They're gonna try to retcon their way out of this and I say Fuck Em.
