OUR NEW STUDY is out!!
Open access: bitly.ws/3d96E
🧵below 🙏@StanfordPain and all amazing coauthors (these 3 on Twitter) @DrSeanMackey @DrHeatherKing @DrKristenSlater
NEW STUDY shows pain relief skills class (Empowered Relief) is effective for reducing back pain 6 months after the one-time class is received. Empowered Relief® was shown to be no less effective than 8-session cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for broad symptom reduction, according to a Stanford study that was funded by the @NIH_NCCIH and led by Dr. @BethDarnall and @drseanmackey. bitly.ws/3d96E
