Minister of civil Aviation and Airports Development of Somaliland, Fuad Ahmed Nuh provided details about the eVisa system.
"It is estimated that around 90 aircraft use Somaliland’s airspace each day."

The Somaliland government summoned the representatives of the international community based in the capital, Hargeisa, and briefed them on the latest developments regarding Somaliland’s airspace affairs.
All aircraft that flew over Somaliland's airspace today were given instructions stating that they cannot enter the airspace without the permission of the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
Official Dirctive Issued by the Somaliland Immigration and Border Control, visas or travel authorizations issued by the Federal government of Somalia are not valid for entry into the Republic of Somaliland, Individuals presenting these documents will be refused entry .
