Last Thursday in Nebraska, Vice President JD Vance stopped mid speech and called on his team to immediately bring in their doctor to help a woman in the crowd who had collapsed, having a medical emergency.
He then asked Nebraskans to pray for the woman, said the Lord's Prayer, and closed the rally with a very thoughtful statement, praising God that she was going to be okay and asking everyone to please allow her a few minutes to be escorted out in peace by ambulance.
