These next two games might be the biggest of the season. It sucks but these early November Q1 games hold so much weight on selection Sunday. These have to be competitive games and if we want high hopes of March, one of these games MUST be a win.🍊

I can’t be the only person to think this is the first “team” we’ve had in a while. When I say team, I mean 5 guys on the court playing with eachother. I’ve seen little iso ball and a lot more movement. Gerry is already making a difference.🍊

Much much better game today. Very consistent play through both halves and the foot is on the gas. I’ve seen a lot of good, some bad too. But again, I like what I’ve been seeing through 2 games.

Don’t know if I heard the dome that loud all of last season. This is amazing to see/hear.

Off seasons are no fun. But college basketball offseason are the epitome of brutality. The last 8 months have led up to the tip-off tonight. A lot of questions but also a lot of excitement regarding this season. I believe in Gerry and I know every other Cuse fan on this app is excited. This is a tournament team if we play our cards right. I’d love to see this team playing in late March. Cuse tips off in 10 minutes!🍊 Long season, let’s take some positives tonight and get 1% better every time!

Cuse back to back huge wins in football. Carrying that into hoops tomorrow. Life is not bad.🍊

I’ve said it once (maybe) and I’ll say it again. Can’t look too deep into these pre-season games. Again, brand new head coach and he’s going to try out different rotations with brand new players. There are no solid opinions on this team which is good. At least see how the regular season plays out before deciding whether or not you think this team is good.

I don’t want to comment on the two preseason games because I don’t want to form an opinion on a team that’s 0-0. But, in the little time I watched them, here’s what I’ve liked. - Sadiq is looking like a true breakout star in the ACC. He put up 17 against UConn on solid splits. The fact he came back tells us this program means something to him. - Three point shooting should drastically improve this season. Something we’ve lacked for years. Morano especially, he has looked very promising. - Gerry Mac is our coach. That enough is something to look forward to. - We have a true Center. Luke Wilson is the reigning Sun- Belt DPOY with a true all-around paint presence. - Our bench is more than capable of scoring. Dating back to the Boeheim days, it’s really felt like a 6 man rotation. This year we have guys capable of giving meaningful minutes. - This could just be me, but I feel that Doty should and will have the ball in his hands during pivotal shots and possessions. Underwhelming games have been the Orange standard, so it’s easy to see the negatives in the two preseason games. But there is certainly a lot more to look forward to. Win or lose, the fans aren’t going anywhere. We want and expect good results. I hope GMac can be the guy. But with the season right around the corner, we’re all eager for Cuse to restore our faith in the program.

Man that was one of the worst drives I’ve ever seen in my life. 0-11 in the last 11 ACC games.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a Syracuse fan… It’s never tweet anything positive until it’s said and done. We might’ve hit a milestone of 100+ blown leads on this account in 3 years. Sad. Syracuse. Hours.
