Paging @Pirates. You can never have enough good baseball people, especially those who truly understand the region and love the franchise.
To all my Friends, Rockies fans, current and past Players, members of the entire Colorado Rockies Organization top to bottom, I would like to extend my appreciation and love for being part of an incredible journey for over 20 years. I was granted the opportunity to coach and manage this club. Then, I was asked to come back and mentor the young players and future leaders of this organization. Both were gifts. Thank you to Dick Monfort for trusting me with both of those journeys and for always treating me like family and making Colorado feel like home. What I will hold onto most isn’t the wins. It’s the people! They are what Rocktober was built on. That’s what the next great Rockies team will be built on too. With my last day being October 31, 2026….just know that I am not retiring…but rather recalculating my journey personally and professionally. In the words of my favorite Doctor….”Don’t be sad it’s over be glad it happened” - Dr. Seuss Thank you for your support over the years. My family and I have loved our time in Colorado, and will always cherish our memories in purple. Make a difference today, Love Clint @Rockies

If he somehow wins, the Country is screwed because that will indicate most of the other dangerous screwballs made it too. But God is still in charge.

Nothing says “focus on the task at hand” like putting out a statement attacking your former primary opponent.

I’m willing to wait 10 years, God willing, to hang out with you. I hope there is a path for you to benefit younger guys.

Very grateful, Clint. And I would love to spend time with you. But, I would prefer some team -preferably the Pirates-who would benefit from your journey and experience.

Just table that plan for now Carl. We may figure something out later! 😎🤟🙌🏼

Actually, He did. And there is quite a bit of evidence to support that.
That would require no Faith,. Faith is the bedrock of Christianity, without it we're nothing. Faith is the belief in things sight unseen. I don't have to see HIM, I trust the 12 men who were tortured and murdered for the eyewitness testimony.

If I weren’t 72 , stoved up and on a somewhat fixed income, sir, I’d hire you to give me hitting lessons. If for no other reason than to hang out.

Even though I’ve been a Pirates fan since birth, I grew up outside Philadelphia and have strong memories of listening to Harry Kalas call Phillies games. He was a true master, whose calls of exciting plays or home runs are legendary (“Swing, and a LONG DRIVE!!!). He also knew how to stay silent between pitches and let the sounds of the ballpark speak for a few moments. Baseball on the radio is golden.

No kidding. I probably listened to most if not all of 125 Pirate games this season. Not that I want a trophy or anything.

Yes. Smoltz was overbearing. Radio has always been the best, even when watching

Which bar are you referring to, sir. She can hold her own at one type.
I still want to know WHO took the Bar exam for her?

I’d have $200 million by now.
Not only would I not watch the NBA, I’d stop using words that begin win n, b or a.

I ate at the Wellsboro Diner once but it was in the 1960's. My Grandparents loved that place.

I've been to all of them! And D's diner in Plains was in my first book! FYI in Northwest PA? Diner is spelt Dinor! washingtonexaminer.com/opini…

Looks like 1960-70 or so.
I've been a Padres fan for a long time, since I was born in the mid 1970s! These pics are from 2009! Some bleak attendance days back then!!

Your “conviction” helps empower leftists to plow through every safeguard in our government designed to defend the rights of individuals in this country. It isn’t possible to express enough contempt for someone who would do that, especially since you simultaneously congratulate yourself for your own virtue. You can condescend all you want, but you are willfully helping to turn this country over to people who YOU KNOW intend to destroy it. Contemptible.

No & hell no! All the hitters need to do is put the ball in play instead of striking out.
