Check out this AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) Mesobot. I was able to help capture the footage of Mesobot. I think the twilight zone is such a fascinating area to study and thanks to the great scientists at WHOI we are learning more and more about it.
#Mesobot is specifically designed to study life in the #OceanTwilightZone. It can maneuver under its own power for 24+ hours, filming animals, measuring ocean properties, and even sampling the water for traces of animal DNA.
