The timing of this for July 18th makes sense.
Mid-Ohio will be July 4th as its new traditional date is that holiday weekend. This gives the teams an opportunity to get back to their race shops, get their cars turned around and then get to the airport where the cargo planes will take them overseas.

@IndyCar winner @ChristianR_DK will compete in the 85th Annual @ARPBolts #TurkeyNightGP at southern California’s @Ventura_Raceway Saturday, November 28.
The 26-year-old Copenhagen, Denmark native will drive a Spike chassis fielded by car owner Johnny Cofer. With support from the Agajanian family, the car will emulate the iconic 1952 Agajanian Special paint scheme driven to victory at the Indianapolis 500 by Troy Ruttman.
