I believe that there's a higher authority somewhere, but being all religious about it is what I no longer do. I've made decisions "Religiously" that would need me to go an extra mile to correct, but loosing a mother is at the top.
My condolences biggest gee 🫡
My mom’s death has revealed a lot to me. There are so many things I can’t even explain. On a very good day, I would be dropping them one after another, but today, I’ll be dropping this one.
Let me tell you a quick story.
As some of you know, I lost my mom a few days ago. While my mom was on the hospital bed, my brother was constantly in contact with his pastor. They would call and pray together for my mom to get better.
The pastor gave my brother 100% assurance that my mom would recover. He told him he had already seen a vision and that my brother should remain calm because everything would be fine.
Then came that painful day my mom passed away.
My brother called the pastor to tell him that my mom had passed. The pastor told him that it was not possible. He asked my brother to go close to my mom and switch to a video call because he was going to call my mom’s spirit back into her body. My brother, desperate and holding on to his faith, did exactly what he was told.
This man prayed and spoke in tongues for about 4 hours.Nothing happened.
My mom didn’t come back. She was gone.
Now imagine someone who wasn’t a pastor or religious leader telling my brother the exact same thing in that moment. With the anger, pain and frustration of losing his mother, there’s a good chance he would have confronted that person immediately.
But because it was a pastor, he allowed the claim to go unchecked. He trusted the man even when the situation had become completely unreasonable, because religion had taught him to give certain people a level of unquestionable authority.
This is the part we need to talk about.
Faith should not mean switching off your critical thinking.
With this kind of experience, I have lost so much respect for these so-called men of God and religious leaders. Honestly, I don’t think I can ever look at religion the same way again.
I have seen too many people manipulate and cajole their followers with lies and false promises just to keep them hooked.
And for those of you who still believe in religion, you need to learn how to separate your faith from blindly accepting everything someone says simply because they are wearing the title of “pastor.”
As for me, I’m done with religion. Good luck to y’all.
I really for see another entry but I just comot mind cuz I chop Nasdaq. Either way, unto the next. ✌️
It's almost the end of day and I spotted this nice sell on XAUUSD. Will be holding into Friday, Hopefully Friday follows the trend 🤞
