35 years and never forgotten. R.I.P.

Jamie McGrigor was liked across political divides because of his character. He was a fine Hon President of the CFA & supported our fishing communities nobly. His after dinner speeches were much anticipated & always brought a smile. Thoughts are with his family & friends. R.I.P.

Touching documentary on Netflix about traditions of a Scottish Fishing Community in Eyemouth, it's the same across the country. We need to cherish heritage & not lose anymore of it to external pressures. It's who Fishing Communities are & have always been. youtu.be/VVQbZSakt5w

Thanks to the teachers & pupils from Tarbert Academy for spending time with 2 Fyne Fishermen & learning about local community fishing. We are proud of our CFA members for passing on their knowledge & the young people for their enthusiasm. Here's to a thriving future in good hands

Today we remember those lost. #NationalFishingRemembranceDay2025
