Bournemouth playing in Europe tonight and then play on Sunday + injuries. Shocked if United lose this weekend so probably in charge for our game.
Chelsea not beaten Carrick since he went to United in 2 different spells so idk what to think.
Michael Carrick expected to manage against Bournemouth at the weekend, as we reported on @talkSPORT earlier. He'll face the media as always. Business as usual at Old Trafford for now, despite normal succession planning in case a change is made.
🚨 Chelsea are expected to move for Alex Scott in January. [@kierangill_DM]
❗️Bournemouth owner Bill Foley on Alex Scott: “At this point, we're convinced we're the right place for Alex to be and to stay, and we'll keep on addressing the contract issues with Alex as we move through this year. We'd love to have Alex stay here and sign a new contract and be part of this team for the long haul.” [talksport] talksport.com/football/46590…
Acheampong’s progress under Alonso could offer encouragement to both Quenda and Estêvão, both have struggled for game time so far but just like Josh before the break, Alonso’s trust is paying off so far. roundtable.io/sports/soccer/…
Contract currently expires in 2029, no immediate rush but feels like it is something that should look after itself if we keep playing him.
🚨Manchester United were among the clubs who made enquiries for Acheampong. He is expected to be the next player to be offered the chance to commit his long-term future to Chelsea. [@alex_crook]
Q) What was your first emotion when you signed for Chelsea?
Penders: "It was amazing, of course. One of the biggest teams in the world. You don’t need a lot of persuasion to do that!" [chelseafc] chelseafc.com/en/news/articl…
