A landlord evicted a family three months after discovering they had won £2 million in the lottery, even though they had never missed a rent payment in the six years they had lived in his property. The couple had two children and rented a modest three-bedroom house. They were quiet tenants, paid their rent on time and had never caused problems for their landlord. Everything changed when the husband won the lottery. The family kept the news private initially, but a relative mentioned it to a neighbour, and the story eventually reached the landlord. Two weeks later, he contacted them to say he wanted to increase their monthly rent by nearly 80 per cent when their tenancy came up for renewal. The husband was shocked. When he asked why the increase was so steep, the landlord admitted that he knew they could now afford it. He argued that the property was worth more than they had been paying and that he had simply never charged them the market rate…. 1/2 🧵

My girlfriend had been asking me for months to take her on vacation. I finally saved enough money and booked us a five-day trip to a beautiful beach resort. When we arrived, she was so excited. She kept taking pictures and telling me how much she loved me. On our second night, I went downstairs to get something to eat while she stayed in the room. When I returned, she was in the bathroom, and her phone was ringing on the bed. I wasn't planning to check her phone, but the notification on the screen caught my attention.......

The most annoying cry ever Obsession (2026) A haunting blend of romance, horror, and psychological madness that explores what happens when love turns into something far more dangerous. The story follows Bear, a lonely young man whose desperate wish to win the heart of his longtime crush unexpectedly comes true. But as fantasy becomes reality, affection slowly transforms into an uncontrollable obsession with terrifying consequences. What begins as a dream soon becomes a nightmare, as desire twists into possession and love mutates into fear. The film dives deep into loneliness, unhealthy attachment, and the terrifying price of getting exactly what you wished for. With unsettling tension, emotional depth, and chilling psychological horror, Obsession keeps viewers questioning where love ends and obsession begins. Featuring powerful performances, disturbing imagery, and a gripping atmosphere, Obsession is a dark reminder that some desires are better left unfulfilled.

The CEO received a resignation email from an employee he had never heard of. The email read: “After seven years of covering up mistakes I did not make, I have decided to leave this company. My final working day will be Friday.” The CEO forwarded it to HR. CEO: “Who is this person, and why have I never heard of him?” HR checked the employee database. HR Director: “His name isn’t listed anywhere.” The CEO suspected a scam until the email included internal project codes, confidential meeting dates, and the names of senior managers. He ordered an investigation. By the following afternoon, IT discovered that the email belonged to a former employee whose account had supposedly been deactivated four years earlier. They traced the login to a computer inside the company’s finance department. The CEO summoned the finance director. CEO: “Do you know this person?”

My wife told me she was tired of spontaneous romantic moments and wanted everything planned. Wife: “Thursday, 9 p.m. One hour. No distractions.” She added it to our shared calendar. I stared at her. Me: “You’re scheduling romance now?” Wife: “I’m scheduling time for us. There’s a difference.” Me: “What happened to kissing your husband because you missed him?” Wife: “What happened to understanding that I have a job, responsibilities, and a life outside this marriage?” I raised my hands. Me: “Okay. Thursday at nine. I’ll be there.” She smiled. Wife: “Good. And please don’t turn it into something complicated.” For months, I’d tried everything to bring back the woman I married. I’d brought flowers home unexpectedly, planned weekend getaways, cooked dinner, and surprised her with little gifts. Sometimes she appreciated them. Other times, she’d tell me I should have asked first, chosen a different day, or checked whether she had enough energy. Eventually, I stopped surprising her. But I never stopped hoping she’d surprise me. On Thursday, I finished work early, bought her favourite food, lit candles, and arranged everything neatly on the dining table. Then I placed a notebook beside my plate. At exactly 9 p.m., she walked in, looking exhausted. She glanced at the candles, smiled briefly, and sat down. Then she noticed the notebook. Wife: “What’s that?” I opened it. Me: “Our marriage review.” She laughed. Wife: “You’re joking, right?” I shook my head. Me: “Since we’re scheduling everything, I thought we should discuss why we need appointments to feel close.” Her laughter faded slightly. Then she noticed the business card beside the notebook. A divorce lawyer’s business card. Her smile disappeared.

Something happened in my neighborhood and I think I should share🤦‍♀️, a Client was told by Landlord to get out of the building because Client is a Muslim immigrant. Client just wanted to leave quietly, but Landlord insisted that Client also pay the rest of the rent on the Lease because Landlord said Muslims couldn't be trusted because of Taqiyya so the Client was going to inevitably break the lease anyway. I warned Landlord and Landlord's lawyer that this would go badly and they really should consider NOT being such blatant bigots,

My coworker congratulated me on my promotion, then asked to see my offer letter. Two days later, he told me not to celebrate yet. I thought he was jealous. We had worked together for almost four years, and we had both applied for the same senior position. When my manager announced that I had been selected, everyone congratulated me except David. He shook my hand, smiled, and said, “You deserve it.” But something about his expression felt off. The next morning, he approached my desk and asked if he could see my promotion letter. I laughed. “Why? You want to check my new salary?” He didn’t laugh back. “I just need to confirm something.” I showed him the letter, expecting him to make another sarcastic comment. Instead, he read it carefully, handed it back, and walked away without saying a word. Two days later, he sent me a message asking me to meet him privately during lunch. When I arrived, he placed a printed document on the table. “Before you sign anything else,” he said, “you need to read this.” It was a copy of the job description for the position I had just accepted. I looked at him, confused. “What’s this supposed to mean?” He pointed to one paragraph. My new role came with responsibility for approving supplier payments up to $50,000. Then he showed me another document. It contained the name of a supplier I had never worked with before. David leaned closer and said something that made me stop breathing for a moment. “Three people have been fired from this company over payments involving that supplier.” I stared at him. “Why are you telling me this?” He paused before answering. “Because your name is already on the first approval.” I had never approved a single payment for that supplier. So how had my name ended up on the document?
