Jon Stewart’s 2-minute history lesson here is worth everyone’s time before we start confidently breaking out our theories of what happened
Incredible
This is 22.25 mph, which is faster than any NFL ball-carrier ran last season. Only D.K. Metcalf, Canadian Chase Brown, and Tyreek Hill surpassed 22 mph in 2023 with Metcalf leading the way at 22.23 mph. #CFL
Unbelievable play by Fajardo
Grey Cup on the line.

Cody Fajardo to Cole Spieker for 31 yards.
First down.

People have to stop doubting the quality of talent in the @CFL. Chad Johnson, an NFL Hall of Fame calibre receiver, tells it like it is!*nsfw🤬 #GCPlayoffs

Fantastic point! So glad he is locked up!
Leagues are always more fun when star players are tied to a market in spirit. With that said, it’s hard to imagine @Chadkelly_6 being anything besides a @TorontoArgos. It feels like the team and the player have taken on each other’s personas. #CFL #Argos

This seems like a good opportunity to tout my schedule solution idea again: Season opens on a Saturday or Sunday evening with a "kickoff classic" between the #GreyCup finalists at the home of the champions. The only game that wknd. Big event. Seven other teams on a bye. /2

Thinking of the great George Reed I once spoke with him on the phone about this Sports Illustrated article from 1973 and he could not have been more gracious vault.si.com/.amp/vault/1973…
Late with this but incredible atmosphere at #Argos game Friday night with a great game and win. This experience was not possible at Skydome and shows the beauty of the location and BMO field. @TorontoArgos
Tre Ford is so fun to watch. Was glued to the TV with him on and happy Edmonton got that W. The #CFL needs a strong Alberta next 2 games will be fun.

Nice to see the @TorontoArgos on the front page of the @TorontoStar. This is the team's 150th year. Would be great if we rallied around them as a city and cheered them on. God knows we could use a little civic spirit and fun! #Argos #DoubleBlue #cfl @CFL
So good! More teams do this please @TorontoArgos #CFL
Amazing! Every team should do this

THREAD: A proposal for fixing the @CFL schedule
There are always many issues with the CFL schedule. For instance, bye weeks are spread unevenly -- most egregiously this year, Toronto will use all 3 of its byes this year by Week 11, then play 10 straight games. /
100% this! Do it! @OSEGMarkGoudie
