📚 Congratulations to Northwood Hills Elementary School’s very own Alma Medina for being recognized for your incredible work supporting dual-language education in the classroom and being selected as a recipient of The Kemper Foundation’s Read Conmigo Educator Grant! ✏️ #HD102 @nherisd
Missing the first day of school in 30 years, but wishing @nherisd and @RichardsonISD the most successful year yet! My heart is with you. #risddreambig
Tomorrow marks my first staff day not returning after 30 wonderful years. Deepest thanks to @RichardsonISD and @nherisd for the memories, friendships, and purpose. Wishing everyone a great year - I will be cheering you on from the sidelines! #RISDGreatness #retiredlife
#NHEThinkTank’s annual Pentomino Challenge was this week. Teachers and @Jenni1002Smith stepped up to take on the students! Who reigned supreme in strategy, speed, and spatial smarts? I’m not telling!! @nherisd @amyfloyd03 @kimperclefarias #RISDBeTheOne #goodvibesatNHE
Y’all, I seriously work with the craziest (and most lovable) humans around! I was greeted this morning by this! Talk about a farm fresh welcome! I love this goofy @nherisd crew. #goodvibesatNHE #RISDBeTheOne @nheptafalcons
Today’s forecast: 💯% chance of tiny lightning bolts! Elementary kids + soda cans+ balloons + a Van de Graaff generator = the most shocking day of the week in the #NHEThinkTank ! @nherisd @Jenni1002Smith @nheptafalcons #goodvibesatNHE #RISDBETheOne
First graders test for acid in their Valentine candy with a universal indicator. A sweet way to explore chemistry. Love is in the air - and in the #NHEThinkTank! @nherisd @Jenni1002Smith #goodvibesatNHE #RISDBeTheOne @nheptafalcons
Give it up for one of @nherisd’s 3rd grade dads, Anthony Guajardo for putting together the school’s new chicken coop. Our hens, Ruby and Lilly are closer to coming home. “Egg-citing” times ahead! @Jenni1002Smith @nheptafalcons #RISDBeTheOne #goodvibesatNHE
Snow scoop STEM challenge this week in the #NHEThinkTank. From brainstorming to building, these young innovators showed off their engineering skills. If it snows in Dallas, we are ready!☃️@nherisd @Jenni1002Smith #RISDBeTheOne #goodvibesatNHE

Thrilled to see former NHE and RHS student Riley Testut named to Forbes 30 Under 30, Games. Your innovation and creativity are inspirational. Keep leveling up the industry. We are so proud of you! @RichardsonHS1 #RISDGreatness forbes.com/30-under-30/2025/…
Our future Falcons were brewing up some spooky science in the #NHEThinkTank today. Bubbling concoctions made for some “spook-tabular” fun!! @RISDBeTheOne #RISDGreatness #goodvibesatNHE @nherisd @nheptafalcons @Jenni1002Smith
Welcome back! So proud to see our RHS teaching intern returning to the very elementary school she once walked as a student. From learning in the #NHEThinkTank to now inspiring @nherisd students! What a journey! #RISDBeTheOne #RISDGreatness #goodvibesatNHE
Our 6th grade class of 2002 planted this tree to honor the lives lost on 9/11/01. Just as this tree continues to grow strong, so does @nherisd! Let this tree serve as a symbol of the enduring strength of our community! #RISDBeTheOne #RISDGreatness #goodvibesatNHE @nheptafalcons
They’re cracking codes, solving puzzles, and learning about science tools and safety along the way. Science escape room for the win! #NHEThinkTank @nherisd @nheptafalcons #goodvibesatNHE #RISDBeTheOne #RISDGreatness
I got this sweet note last week from a special 6th grader leaving our school. Relationships matter! We are blessed to touch so many little lives. Education can be hard, but rewards like this are priceless! @nherisd @nheptafalcons #RISDBeTheOne
Thank you card from a former student. This student is now a doctor who practiced neurosurgery before moving into interventional radiology. Blessed to be remembered 25 years later. @nherisd #RISDBeTheOne
My 30th first day at Northwood Hills. 30 years of witnessing challenges and triumphs, small victories and significant breakthroughs, and love! Lots and lots of love!❤️ @nherisd @NHEFalcons #RISDBeTheOne #GoodvibesatNHE
