We held a successful global youth discussion on ‘Energy in Cities’
Its clear, #Cities currently consume approximately 75% of the world's energy and are responsible for over 70% of CO2 emissions, making them the focal point for #ClimateAction
demands in a way that is both
environmentally sustainable and socially equitable.
> Renewable Potential: The world has more than enough renewable energy potential of to meet the continent’s energy needs, priority should be given to sustainable and emission-free energy-
systems and sources.
