A legend of a fighter! Happy retirement @eggington_sam.
What a career you forged! ๐ฅ๐ฅ
And shout out to @jonpegg74 for his role in such a great story ๐
Smethwick warrior Sam Eggington has confirmed his retirement.
Eggington, who once intended to become a journeyman, went on to win the British, Commonwealth and European titles during his thrilling 46-fight career.
He leaves the sport as one of British boxingโs most dependable crowd-pleasers.
All the best in retirement, Sam. ๐
