🇮🇪 Jayson Molumby v Preston:
🥇 Highest xA of any Albion player
🥇 = most touches in the oppo box
🤝 91% pass completion
🥇 Most passes into the final 3rd
🥇 Most ball recoveries
🥇 = most blocks
💪 Not dispossessed once
🧠 He’s in your head!
#wba
I’ve been critical of Molumby’s maturity in the past but I feel being one of the elder statesmen in the squad this season has really developed him as a leader.
Last couple of games he’s set the example for the younger players.

The flick into Molumby for the goal is sublime, as is the back heel for Barney first half.
Unlucky to not get a goal too after a great stop from Iversen denied him.
As I said yesterday, his best performance yet in an Albion shirt.
#wba
🇳🇴 Felix Horn Myhre created the most chances of any player on the pitch yesterday (6️⃣).
⁉️ What did you think of his performance?

🤯 That is the 6th consecutive game in which Albion have conceded the first goal, yet they’ve lost just 2 of those games.
✅ W-2
➖ D-2
❌ L-2

We’ve got to find a solution to this set piece issue.
We are poor at both ends of the field.
We create very little offensively from dead balls and every time the opposition get one my heart is in my mouth.
#wba
Big performance from Jayson
Molumby today, I felt he drove us forward much as he did last week.
A huge role in the goal too.
#wba
A bit frustrating not to win as I felt we were the better side but there were enough positives.
A decent display, a point away from home and another comeback.
That said, we’d win a lot more if we could stop conceding the first goal.
#wba
That’s the best we’ve seen from Felix today, I really enjoyed his performance and some of his link play was excellent.
I’d like to see the one the keeper saves back as he probably should have scored but he made up for it with a great flick to help set up our goal.

Only one club of the 48 that have played in the Championship over the last decade has made an operating profit per @valuball
Eight have made losses exceeding £200m in that period (2015/16 to 2024/25).

🤯 It represents a huge change from last year when we lost 17 of the 21 games in which we conceded the first goal!

Such a shame as I think he’s been really good since he got into the side and the way he uses the ball is way beyond most players at this level.
Hope he comes back soon and stronger.
Quick recovery Toby.

Toby Collyer will be sidelined for a spell after suffering a hamstring injury in Saturday's win over Blackburn Rovers. 🤕

I really like this option, it varies our threat & plays to the strengths of our forwards.
Once again Morrison finds a solution to a problem.
Price & Morgan playing wide with Rabby in the 10 has really suited us and has kept teams guessing about how we might attack them.

❎ Albion put in 36 crosses vs Blackburn, their highest number of crosses in a 26/27 game prior to Sat was 20!
⚽️ Albion also put in 14 accurate crosses v Rovers, the most Albion have had in a game since Boxing Day 2023.
⁉️ Do you like this tactical approach?

💙🤍 Isaac Price v Blackburn
🍟 Goal
🥇 Most chances created (6)
🥇 Most accurate crosses (6)
🥈 Second most tackles of any Albion player (3)
🥈 Second most touches in the opposition box (7)
⁉️ What did you think of his performance?
#wba
Price is in a really great place at present.
4 goals and 2 assist in just 11 league games is a great record, but he’s contributing so much more than that.
He’s offering Mozza a solution on both the right & left, & he’s been integral in both turnarounds this week!

🤯 Albion’s xG yesterday of 3.68 was our highest in a game since the final day of the 21/22 season when the Baggies beat Barnsley 4-0!
🥅 In terms of non-penalty xG, it’s our highest since the 5-1 win at home to Pompey in 24/25 when Tony Mowbray was Albion boss.
#wba
🤯 This is a crazy stat!
You want to know something that makes it even crazier?
James Morrison played in both games in 16/17 the last time this happened and scored in the Hull game 😂
#wba
🗓️ This week is the first time for almost a decade that Albion have gone behind in back-to-back games & come back to win them both.
The last time it happened was in 16/17 in the Premier League:
😇 31/12/16 Saints 1-2 Albion
🐯 02/01/17 Albion 3-1 Hull
🪄 Mozza magic
