Delhi is once again flooded with people standing up to save democracy.
If Modi thinks taking away Jantar Mantar will put an end to protests, he is mistaken.
Jantar Mantar is not just a location but a spirit of resistance that nobody can ever take away.

"Communication is not simply about getting attention. It is about helping people understand an issue, encouraging them to care about it, and inspiring them to take action." Says Abhijeet Dipke in an interview with his alma mater, Boston University bu.edu/com/articles/com-grad…

Dear @JPNadda @DrJitendraSingh ji,
We are observing a complete breach of the agreement regarding no police action against the protestors. Hundreds of students have been arrested in Bihar and Bengal, and hundreds are being surveilled/harrassed in Delhi and other states. Multiple reports are emerging in Delhi around detention of volunteers supporting protestors with logistics.
We demand that all the FIRs against the protestors be immediately withdrawn, students be released and no future FIRs be filed (in line with our agreement) by Delhi police / Central investigative agencies / Police in BJP-allied states, FAILING WHICH WE WILL BE FORCED TO SIT ON PROTEST AGAIN.
We also demand that the written agreement around legal cases be shared with us by tomorrow, the aligned timelines with the Government of India.

We condemn the illegal police crackdown against Junaid bhai by the UP Police. We’ve been in regular touch with him and providing all necessary help from day 1. We urge the @Uppolice to stop this illegal, arbitrary, inhumane crackdown against Junaid’s family and release them IMMEDIATELY.

The government is rewarding corruption instead of ensuring accountability!
Last night, the Education Secretary was transferred. He was replaced by an IAS officer from the Animal Husbandry Department who has severe multi-crore corruption charges against him.
The entire crisis around paper leaks and NEET was about systemic corruption. Replacing one bureaucrat with another facing serious corruption allegations is a direct INSULT to young people across India.
Is this the "compromise" the government expects us to accept? This is not accountability. We will not stop until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns ✊

Nothing is more important than the welfare and future of our youth!
We have decided to set up fast-track courts to ensure swift and stringent punishment for those involved in paper leaks. Have directed the concerned authorities and officials to take all necessary steps in this regard. This continues our series of steps for safeguarding the interests of students.
Those who try to harm the future of our youth will not be spared.

The govt has shutdown 16 metro stations around Jantar Mantar. Also learning that Several companies of CRPF are also being flown to Delhi. Is this a preparation for a more brutal crackdown? Such a crackdown will only fuel the fire that the govt has lit by its arrogant behaviour towards our youth.
Eminent people including MPs should go to Jantar Mantar

A "janta darbar" is being held at Jantar Mantar. If ministers want to talk, they must come to the people.
When @DelhiPolice invited us to Minister JP Nadda’s residence today, we categorically declined. We are not going to anyone’s closed doors or private homes.
If security is a concern, we are open to a neutral venue near Jantar Mantar. But the government must show genuine intent to ACCEPT our demands, not waste our time with meaningless photo-ops.
Thousands of students are here on the streets. Show real intent or face the people’s court! ✊🔥

VIDEO | Delhi: CJP Chief Spokesperson Saurav Das says, “This morning, the police reached out to us again and informed us that Union Minister JP Nadda wanted to speak with us. They invited us to his residence, but we categorically declined. We are not going to anyone's house or office. A 'janata darbar' is being held here, and if the ministers want to talk, they should come to the people. The discussion should take place at Jantar Mantar. At the same time, we are reasonable people. If the government is concerned about security at the protest site, we are willing to meet at a neutral venue near Jantar Mantar. We are still waiting to hear back from them.
He adds, “The government must have the intention to accept our demands. There is no point in calling us for meaningless discussions. Our time is valuable. Thousands of people are still participating in the protest, and we have to manage that as well... The government should clarify whether it genuinely intends to engage with us..."
