It has been a wildly entertaining week on my timeline here. Started off with midterm mayhem followed by the most bizarrely wacky and delusional conspiracy theories I have ever seen. People terrified of clouds and now Cybertruck cultists having an absolute meltdown. Whats next?
What are the odds of 2 well used E30's being parked next to each other in a random parking lot in 2026?
Jesus, 1 sarcastic engagement with a post about clouds being a conspiracy and now my timeline is flooded with people who fear them.
The level of hysteria today is unhinged beyond belief with the most common theme being turning our backs on God, as if he cares about petty human politics. People need to step out of their echo chambers and breathe. Left or right makes no difference, the entire system is corrupt.
The MAGA's at work look like they are a hair away from jumping off a bridge, the dems are walking on sunshine. I am just getting ready for the new season of The Shit Show. Its going to be the wildest yet.
The unmistakable silhouette of a @FedEx MD-11 on final into Boston this morning. It's nice to see these workhorses still going.
This platform is becoming inundated with bots posting random pictures of things asking how to fix it. The best one was a piston 1 stroke away from catastrophic failure and they are like. Can I just weld it? Every other post is this stuff.
This is the Picnic, garage batch #10 from @Leatherman. Its like a smaller compact Leatherman take on the Victorinox Winemaster. It opened my bottle of Oak Ridge Zin with ease and cut the cheese (not a fart joke). It has a bottle opener and bit driver too. Nice one Leatherman!
Well, I was about a week late for New Hampshire's peak foliage in The Whites. Most of it was passing peak today, but the hike up to Zeacliff overlooking the Pemi is always worth the 8 miles and 1,400 feet of elevation gain in that last steep mile.
Is there a button I can press to block anything Tillamook related from my feed? This newest fake crisis is exploding beyond belief and flooding my feed like a tsunami. Utterly ridiculous.
This whole Tillamook thing is getting insane. My timeline is flooded with it. The people who took a nothing burger and turned it into monetized rage bait political theater are laughing all the way to bank now.
I am not sure what's worse. The whole "slam" fad or the destruction of what was once a nice BMW 5. Maybe I am just old and boring.
Spotted this Portuguese Air Force C-390 turning onto 10 mile final into KBOS this morning. Not something you see everyday.
Nice fireworks in @waterville tonight. I think the ghost of William Snow might have been disturbed when a breeze coming down from Snows Mountain filled the town square with smoke for a couple minutes. Just part of the fun.
Sitting in a hotel room, watching the new Grand Tour after a long day of hiking with Mt. Osceola out the window and a gin and tonic with @MrJamesMay's gin in a plastic cup. Life is good.
When I am on my daily lunch break walks, I have thousands of cars pass by, but its always the BMW drivers who feel the need to put the pedal to the medal for no other reason than to assault my ears with their horrendous noob tuned engine/exhaust sounds.
