A group of experts has filed a complaint with the Competition Bureau alleging that four companies, including Hyundai Canada and Kia Canada, failed to disclose that their vehicles may contain products linked to forced labour involving prisoners in Alabama. The Forced Labour in Supply Chains Act—which former MP John McKay and I sponsored—requires companies to disclose the risks of forced labour in their products.

UPDATE: Former IDF soldier Guy Hochman reports he has now been barred from future travel to Canada following formal complaint filed by CLAIHR along with @HindRFoundation and @LCPal_ca: “I got a letter from Canada that my visa is over and revoked.”

🚨🚨 According to multiple media reports, Israeli propagandist Guy Hochman was held and questioned for several hours by Canadian authorities upon arrival at Toronto Pearson Airport, following our complaint.
That Mr. Hochman was detained and questioned confirms that the law can still reach those who publicly promote, justify, or normalize genocide.

🚨 The #HindRajabFoundation, @CLAIHR, @ICJPalestine, and @LCPal_ca have filed a legal conplaint against Guy Hochman. The video shows one of our lawyers hand-delivering an urgent request to CBSA at Toronto Pearson Airport to deny him entry. If Hochman is already in Canada, a criminal complaint has also been filed. Genocidal rhetoric is not art, not free speech, and not protected under Canadian law. No safe haven for those who are complicit with Israel's atrocities.

Guy Hochman, a notorious Israeli comedian who glorifies and incites war crimes and genocide, plans to come to Toronto Jan 19. We’re working with our valued partners at @HindRFoundation to see that he’s stopped at the border or arrested if he does.
