It's a Drop in the ocean when you take into account how much money Meta makes from allowing Scam and catfishing sites to advertise across its media platforms,Which is now allowed because Musk Stripped the Dept that used to safeguard the ppl against Scammers.

Meta’s privacy issues are a systemic problem, not just a single scandal. The focus should be on long, term user trust , fines won't fix the underlying culture of exploitation. Real change demands accountability at every level.

Headline number, not a check. New Mexico asked for 35 to 40 billion, the judge landed at 25, and Meta already told the court a number like that is unconstitutional. This goes to appeal before a dollar moves. The jury's 43 million violations are harder to argue down.

Trust is earned, not bought. Big tech companies must be held accountable for protecting our privacy. ⚖️

Cambridge Analytica broke in 2018 and the penalty lands eight years later. The fine doesn't pull anyone's data back, so if you haven't looked at which old apps still have Facebook access, that list is usually longer than people expect.

Isn't that called "Treason"...? You can't buy your way out of a "war crime" if it is fact confirmed to be spying on the people's privacy...

So the fine was $25B, but the app is still free. That means we cost them zero dollars. We are the actual product.

$25 billion and the privacy settings still take four taps to find.

I will not mention the names of Meta support employees; the infographic speaks for itself. Their only concern is the evaluation rating and leaking ticket numbers 1705, and everything is fully documented. @finkd @andymstone @MetaforDevs @FTC @tomalison @instagram
