European Robotics Forum (ERF) 2025 – Workshop & Talk (Stuttgart, 24–27 March 2025):
EURECAT Technology Center’s Robotics Unit took part in ERF 2025 as organizers and speakers of the workshop "Towards next generation robotics: Generative AI use cases, challenges and opportunities", focusing on large multimodal model (MLLM) reasoning in open, human-centric environments.
In her talk, Silvia Izquierdo Badiola presented how this research enables more flexible and adaptive human-AI collaboration, aligning with the goals of the #PEER project, which was acknowledged during the session.
The workshop, organized by Magí Dalmau Moreno, Andrea Orlandini, and Aksel A. Transeth, brought together experts to explore how large language models can boost explainability and trust in robotics, supporting the development of more intuitive AI systems.
Thank you to all the partners that are making this possible:

I am gratified and delighted to hear that I am the recipient of the 2025 AAAI/EAAI Patrick Henry Winston Outstanding Educator Award “for broad and sustained engagement with the public on AI and its societal impact, developing widely used AI teaching materials, and being an inspirational educator, mentor and thought leader in AI.”🙏
To be told that you have a modicum of talent in the direction of your yearning is quite a beautiful thing.. 🤗
As part of the award, I am invited to give a talk, and I am contemplating titling it
