🔴🔵 *THE SELHURST ATMOSPHERE — WHAT NEXT?* Yesterday's match was another reminder of just how important the atmosphere at Selhurst Park is to the Palace experience. At our meeting with Crystal Palace FC on 22 September, CPISA raised supporters' concerns about the changing matchday atmosphere, including music, entertainment and the absence of the Holmesdale Fanatics. The club explained its approach to matchday entertainment and confirmed that dialogue with former HF members continues. Among the matters discussed: 🔴 Pre-match music and entertainment 🔵 Shortening post-goal music to allow supporters to generate the atmosphere 🔴 Continued dialogue with supporter groups 🔵 Reviewing PA system volume levels *Selhurst Park has always been special because of its supporters. Let's keep it that way.* 💬 What would YOU change to help restore the Selhurst atmosphere? 📄 *Read the full meeting minutes:* cpisa.co.uk/notes-of-cpfc-me… *CPISA — Representing | Advocating | Campaigning* #CPFC #CrystalPalace #SelhurstPark

Just wanted to let you know that we have sent our report of the issues you raised from Lyon match to the FSE and asked them to take them up on our behalf. We’ll let you know what happens. #cpfc

Following the update we posted a few days ago this is now live. Have a feeling that slots will go fast because quite a few people asked us about this

Much better performance tonight, deserved to win but tbh would have been happy to take a point pre-match. Still have to find a way not to switch off because we always get punished when we do. Really want this to be a platform to build on for us going forward. Still think we need defensive reinforcement in January but we need to do it without hamstringing ourselves financially for the summer like we did last Jan. Good to see JP back he brings so much positivity, Sarr still not on it, Pino really good tonight, Wharton much better, McNeil’s best game so far. That tackle on JSL looked nasty so hope he’s ok. #cpfc

Best of luck to Sage and the lads v Besiktas tonight. We definitely have enough talent and experience in the team to reboot and get a win, COYP #cpfc

Just a gentle reminder that power banks, chargers and coins are definitely prohibited tonight and bags taken into the ground must be A4 or smaller. #cpfc

Post Lyon We’ve pulled together the issues that have been reported directly to us and also on X and BBS. We’ll let you know what happens but please bear with us as we will be raising via FSE because we hope this will carry more weight. From what’s been said so far, the issues are generally Lyon/ French police issues not our own club/staff. You can let us know if you feel there is something that isn’t already readily out there that we should include either here or at [email protected] over next 24 hours and we can amend report before we send it off. We’ll also send a copy of our info to the club but imagine they are already well aware of things with staff having been on the ground over there and will likely look at things via their own routes.

Just to say we spoke to the club re supporter photos with Conference trophy and we’re pleased to say that the club will be putting out dates shortly so people can book. It will be on the same basis as the Fa Cup photo opportunity ie free with an optional Palace for Life donation, a photographer is being provided. #cpfc

OK folks let’s relax now and get the job done. COYP! Love the new Timber song btw #cpfc

We know that there are issues with the coaches and how they are organised plus a tram accident is also now impacting travel to the ground. I’m sure there’s nothing the French police would like more than for Palace fans to kick off so they can respond. Please stay calm regardless of the problems so that everyone gets to the ground safely, even if that may be later than we would all have wanted. #cpfc

We spoke to the club yesterday and they let us know that if you’re going to the Lyon match tonight and if you are staying in a hotel near to the ground, the club have managed to get agreement that post match you will not have to get on the coaches all the way back to the Eurexpo meeting point. The trade off is that you will be kept back an extra 15 minutes or so in addition to the approximately 1 hour everyone using coaches are held back in the ground. All supporters will still need to go to Eurexpo meeting point to get on the coaches to the ground pre-match (except Cat 1 and disabled supporters). #cpfc
