Meet Mark Cellars, the Cooper River Bridge Run's Deputy Race Director! 👋 A graduate of The Citadel, Mark started with the Bridge Run as an intern, became Associate Race Director in 2010, and has served as Deputy Race Director for the past five years.

Before becoming race director, Irv Batten owned a Mount Pleasant running store and built an incredible Bridge Run legacy, winning the Marcus Newberry Award, finishing as top male twice, setting records, and earning a place in the Hall of Fame.
