My husband wanted to move to the US for economic opportunities. I told him: if we move there, I will not have children. I refuse to make myself vulnerable through pregnancy&motherhood in a country without guaranteed paid maternity leave&where demanding careers mean 70+hr weeks

Im an research scientist. My husband is a programmer. Yes, 6-figure salaries, but at what price? Excess money doesnt buy quality of life. What good is wealth if were too exhausted to enjoy life, each other or children? Id rather have a life worth living than a salary to boast of

Then there are the taxes. You pay federal, state&payroll taxes, yet still face substantial costs for healthcare, dental care, childcare&university education. Where exactly is the return on that investment? Everything seems to come w/ another fee, surcharge or expectation to pay

I have little respect for modern feminism. It preaches empowerment while cultivating grievance, fragility&victimhood.Women of the past endured incredible hardship w/ fortitude, strength&tenacity.Empowerment isnt demanding the world rescue you from the consequences of your choices

A society where ppl increasingly try to convince themselves theyre fulfilled by lives void of meaning&purpose, while loneliness, anxiety&depression remain widespread&reliance on psychiatric medication grows? At what point do we start examining its consequences of a failed culture?

At what point do we stop defending the narrative and start examining the consequences of a culture that is failing to fulfil the very people it claims to liberate? Is it liberation or empowerment if people have higher rates of depression, anxiety&loneliness than ever before?

In Russian culture, directness is a form of respect&compassion. We say what we mean. If we give our word, we show up&follow through. Sincerity is the alignment btwn what we think&say. Our words are used to reflect our minds honestly, not be buried under layers of comforting lies

The Anglosphere drives me mad with its endless layers of politeness, insincerity&BS. So much of it isn't even conscious. People become so accustomed to saying what's socially acceptable that they lose touch with their own minds. Unable to seperate truth from social conformity

Explaining to my husband that English-speaking cultures are generally insincere. My rule w/ ppl from the Anglosphere is: dont take their words seriously. Much of what they say is an exchange of empty promises, meaningless pleasantries&social niceties w/ no intention behind them

I feel bad. I was browsing jobs&my little cat kept bringing me his toys. He wants to play fetch. I throw his toy, he brings it back. He went to my husband first, who is his primary play companion, but he's taking a nap. Then to me, he gives a little meow begging for play

You are not living in a time of peace. You are already at war, whether you recognize it or not. Time is running out, and there is nowhere left to retreat.
The enemy of our age is literally global Bolshevism. And Bolsheviks are demons in human form. The modern enemies of civilization may not refer to themselves as Bolsheviks, but their end state is the same: gain and retain power by any means necessary and crush dissent. You’re seeing it happen everywhere. >Uprisings in Europe >A coup in Poland >Brazil jailing political opponents >Political persecution against INDIVIDUALS That’s how you know what they do is evil. They don’t talk about making life better, no. They talk about persecuting and punishing people. It starts with “oversight” or legal trouble. It ends with them literally tearing the flesh from your bones. Or exhuming dead nuns and putting them on display in town squares. Open a history book and see where this path of envy leads. See for yourselves what they do. It must be understood that they are the most intolerant “humans” on earth. And the side that is the most intolerant always wins. Only when you stand up and become MORE intolerable, do you sufficiently crush them. This isn’t about partisan politics anymore. Whoever still thinks that way is a half wit. This is literally a life or death struggle for the fate of humanity.

I'm half Scandinavian, half Russian, but my mentality has always been profoundly Russian. Even among my own people, I felt like an outsider. Nordic society reminds me of Hobbiton: peaceful, comfortable and orderly, but deeply suspicious of those who long for the mountains 👇

I wasnt searching for comfort or prestige. I wanted a meaningful life&to develop my character. I chose danger, adventure&a chance to test who I truly am. You cant know yourself, if all youve known is comfort In pain, struggle&adversity is where your true heart&character arrive👇

I saw my darkness, I know who I am&how I show up in life/death situations. When I havent slept properly in weeks, but have to make sound decisions.Ppl can define themselves, but you see who they truly are in actions&you see how meaningless affirmations&self talk truly is 👇
