We need to proceed very cautiously. Gender-neutral legislation targeting violence which disproportionately impacts women & some groups specifically, often has unintended consequences. Proposal by fed NDP could take IPV to new level in justice system. london.ctvnews.ca/but-i-ve-n…

22 years ago, 2,974 lives and families (including 24 Canadians) were changed forever. The attacks profoundly impacted Canada, resulting in our 12 year operations in Afghanistan where 158 Canadians made the ultimate sacrifice and thousands of lives were changed forever. September 11th has formally become Canada's National Day of Service, meant to remember the courage and compassion in the aftermath of 9/11 and rekindle the spirit of kindness and goodwill that unified our country, and was best exhibited by our friends in Gander, Newfoundland. May we never forget.
