Abdul El-Sayed says that he wants the government to put money in people's pockets. But the government has no money that it doesn't first take from people's pockets. So what he's really advocating is that the government take money away from some people and give it to other people.

It's a different story when we compare gross debt to GDP.
Canada is near the top of the G20. In fact, Canada is near the top of the world....period.
We are living far beyond what we can afford. And that's just federal debt. We also have unsustainable levels of provincial, municipal and personal debt.

Watch for this trick in this week's Canadian budget.
Ottawa will brag about “low net debt.” They started doing this when CArney got elected. What they won’t tell you is that the only reason that number looks good is because they’re subtracting roughly a trillion dollars in CPP and QPP assets.
Those funds are not government money. They’re held in trust for workers and retirees. The feds can’t spend them, borrow against them, or use them to cover their own deficits. Subtracting them is not standard accounting. In fact, most other countries don’t do this because the money is earmarked and legally unavailable for general government spending.
This is how they plan to conceal the real borrowing binge. Gross debt keeps rising, debt-service costs are exploding, and they’re using our pension savings as an accounting offset to pretend there’s still fiscal room.
Don’t fall for the “net” number. It's a deliberate sleight of hand.

Outstanding interview with Rick Rule here. Kerry is a great interviewer too.
Rick said that based on the current Gold price and company cash flows, gold stocks are as cheap as he's seen in his 50-year career.
That doesn't mean they can't get cheaper. But that's a hell of a statement.
When it comes to precious metals and natural resource investing, few people bring the depth of experience, knowledge and market insight of Rick Rule.
With more than five decades in the investment business, Rick has witnessed multiple commodity cycles, market booms and busts, and the opportunities that emerge when others are looking in the opposite direction.
In this interview, we sit down with Rick to explore his perspectives on the precious metals and resources sector, the forces shaping today's markets, and what investors should be watching as the global economic landscape continues to evolve.

I asked Dr. Ron Paul if there was still a realistic way out of America's $40 trillion debt crisis without major inflation or losing control of the dollar.
His answer?
“Basically, no.”
He then made a chilling prediction:
“The debt will be liquidated by the destruction of the currency.”

JUST IN: The US still has an inflation problem and it's getting worse again.
PCE Inflation rose to 3.6% in September. That's the highest since May.
Core PCE Inflation (excludes food and energy) ticked up to 3.1%. That's also the highest since May.
Bottom line: Inflation is back near a 3-year high. It's largely due to war in Iran, but there's legitimate concern that inflation is spreading beyond energy.

US and China's combined money supply is approaching COVID levels...
Anyone remember what happened to inflation after COVID? It peaked at 9%.
But...what was bad for citizens was good for the government.
US debt to GDP plunged from 132% to 115%.
As Trump said, you can reduce the debt rapidly through inflation.
