امروز صبح تروریستان آقای یوسف رشید، رییس بنیاد انتخابات آزاد وعادلانه افغانستان (فیفا) را ترور کردند. آقای رشید نقش بسیار مهمی در تحکیم ارزش های دموکراسی در کشور داشته است. ترور چنین انسان های فرهیخته و عدالت خواه ضایعه بزرگی برای جامعه مدنی و تمام مردم افغانستان است.

متاسفانه در این اواخر دامنه ترور فعالین مدنی، مدافعان حقوق بشر و خبرنگاران رو به افزایش بوده که باعث تشدید نگرانی جامعه مدنی شده است. مسئوولیت اکثر این ترورها را فردی یا گروهی به عهده نمی گیرد و دولت هم تدابیر جدی برای تامین امنیت فعالین جامعه مدنی اتخاذ نکرده است.

شبکه جامعه مدنی و حقوق بشر از دولت افغانستان می خواهد تا تدابیر جدی برای تامین امنیت فعالین مدنی و مدافعان حقوق بشر افغانستان اتخاد نموده و هرچه سریع تر عاملان این رویداد را شناسایی و به پنجه قانون بسپارند.
