Very happy to endorse this if you are wondering. @PeteOSullivanPT is at the very, very pointy end of clinical thinking. Grounded in very solid research--of course. His work in the clinic every week comes across in his masterclass. Speaking from experience--I was at his Vancouver course. k2

In adults with #LowBackPain (LBP), high-frequency exercise programs were associated with better outcomes than high-intensity focused programs. That is one of the key findings from our September #SystematicReview ➡️ ow.ly/mSwn50ZOZyi #yourJOSPT #Exercise #BackPain

#FactFriday Increased tibial external torsion may contribute to earlier hip impingement. Toes forward places the hip in relative IR, predisposing to impingement—worse with femoral retroversion. Lower limb malrotation can significantly affect hip load and pain.

i feel all donor tendons need to be screened with ultrasound for tendinopathy that might become symptomatic post op having been sub clinical pre op once a cross-sectional area of tendon has been removed and load transmission shifts Most of these will have had MRI, but this can underestimate (and overestimate re magic angle phenomenon) patella and especially quadriceps tendinopathy, notably calcific variants

Posterior instability is one of the challenging conditions to diagnose and treat. It’s not intuitive but the patient can have pain anteriorly—in the AC joint region. Experts include @DrTaniaPizzari @LynWatsonCourse. The key Delphi study is in @JOSPT

Looking forward to catching up IRL Doctor

I’m a big fan of Dr @alisongrimaldi’s Hip Academy. She is has not only contributed original research to this field, but she’s an active clinician and a tremendous teacher who really works at being a top communicator. I’ve seen what you would be signing up for at its tops.
Are you treating the pain… or the driver? 🧠 Managing complex hip presentations requires more than focusing on the painful structure. Hip Academy helps physios build clinical reasoning! dralisongrimaldi.com/hip-aca…

PHT doesn't just slow runners down. It can make sitting, driving & everyday ADL painful too, due to the compressive loading element. Here's why 👇 dralisongrimaldi.com/blog/un…
