This week I had to opportunity to give a talk to students @UniLUISS in the framework of the LUISS Networking lab. We had a very interesting exchange on networking and building bridges as well as on diplomacy and the work of an embassy and an ambassador. Thank you for having me!

Luxembourg condemns last night’s drone attacks on civilian vessels in the Black Sea, in the immediate vicinity of Bulgaria’s territorial waters. Such attacks are unacceptable & constitute a further escalation of Russia’s war against Ukraine. We stand in solidarity with Bulgaria.
It was a pleasure welcoming Evie Ruymbeke, the new PermRep of Belgium to the Rome-based agencies. i’m looking forward to working together, bilaterally as well as within Benelux and the EU, in our fight against hunger, poverty and the fulfilment of the SDGs.
It was a pleasure to visit the Central Archives of the State in Rome and of particular interest to see different documents relating to the bilateral relations between 🇮🇹 and 🇱🇺, such a bilateral treaty dating back to 1878 or correspondance between our heads of government.
