Election seasons can change how we see and treat each other.
But supporting different candidates should never make us enemies.
Let’s disagree without dividing, debate ideas not people and #rejectviolence.
Elections will pass but we’ll remain neighbours and one community.
A few days ago, we took a step toward the next five years.
For over 15 years, our work has been about one thing— showing up for the communities we serve.
Now, we're taking a step to do that even better.
We're developing our Strategic Framework for 2026–2031. A roadmap that will sharpen how we work, deepen our impact and keep your priorities at the center of everything we do.
It's our commitment to you that we will be more responsive, more effective and more aligned with what your community actually needs.
The leaders you choose will influence the life you live.
They will make those decisions that affect your opportunities, public services and everyday life for the next five years.
It may seem early but now is the time to think carefully about your choices.
Your future deserves an informed choice.

Today, CTL with support from @UraiaTrust thro' @denmarkinkenya convened an Election Watch Series Stakeholders Engagement Forum bringing together election institutions, political parties, CSOs, the business community, citizen groups and the media to assess preparedness for the 2027 General Election in Nakuru County.
The discussions highlighted the need for stronger coordination among election stakeholders, clearer and more regular communication from IEBC, greater public understanding of electoral processes, intensified ORPP sensitization and technical support to aspirants and political parties ahead of party primaries.
Through the #ElectionWatchSeries, CTL will continue creating spaces for dialogue, collaboration and collective action towards a transparent, peaceful and credible electoral process.
Every election is a choice about the future you want to live in.
The leaders you elect will make decisions that affect you on a day to day basis
Choose wisely. Your future deserves your voice.
#YourVoteYourPower
Do you think politics is limited to elections?
Politics shows up in the school fees you pay, the jobs available, the roads you use, the hospitals you depend on and the rights you enjoy.
It is part of your everyday life and the decisions made by political leaders directly affect you.
Stay informed, participate and make your voice count.

A ballot is powerful.
An informed and organized citizenry is even more powerful.
The #NakuruCounty Citizen Manifesto Validation Forum is underway, shaping a citizen-driven agenda that will influence engagement ahead of #KE2027 and hold leaders accountable long after the elections
Elections are only one part of democracy.
True influence is realised when citizens identify their priorities, unite around a shared agenda and consistently demand action from their leaders.
Through the Ajenda Yetu Programme, supported by @UraiaTrust, we participated in the #NakuruCounty Citizen Manifesto Validation Forum which brought together citizens and other stakeholders to refine a shared agenda ahead of the 2027 General Election.
The validated manifesto will provide a clear framework for engaging political leaders, advocating for citizen priorities and holding those elected accountable for their commitments beyond the ballot.

The County Government of Nakuru has committed KSh 27.5 million each financial year to support PWDs including the provision of assistive devices and other essential support services. However, these funds have never reached the intended beneficiaries leaving many PWDs without the assistance they need.
