🤯 WHAT JUST HAPPENED 🤯
‘28 ATH Carmelo Carter comes up with the int, then ‘27 Callaway Rodriguez hit sticks him and All Saints turns over the turnover.
And none of it counts due to a roughing the passer call!

'29 QB Jaxon Franco had a veteran level performance as just a sophomore 👏
31/50 with 657 passing yards and 7 passing touchdowns. Needless to say, he was dotting his receivers all night long. For Jaxon, the ceiling is so high with this only being the first game of his sophomore season. Looking like the next P4 quarterback in TXPS!

'27 WR Callaway Rodriguez had two clutch touchdowns that helped secure the Mustangs the win 🔒
With 7 catches for 83 yards and 2 touchdowns, Callaway truly put Midland in a position to win last night. His second touchdown was the score that tied the ball game at 63 a piece with only 4 minutes left in the ball game. Look for the youngest of the Rodriguez brothers to make some more noise in his senior season.

'27 TE/DL Kobi Baldonado is a beast of a target at 6'3 215 💪
The senior had 5 catches and 109 yards with two touchdowns. His longest touchdown was the short pass in the clip attached that he took 60 yards to the house. Kobi is a stud and will continue to be a large target for Franco throughout this season.

‘27 DB Caleb Cruz had the largest assignment of the night… "Lock up the 5⭐️"
The 5'10 185 DB/WR was all over the field last night on offense, defense, and special teams even having a kick-6 that was called back. No matter what task was assigned to him, he got the job done.
Cruz controlled the game indeed.

'28 WR/FS Payton Ross led the Mustangs on the receiving end last night 🐴
In the first game of his junior season, he had 7 catches for 220 yards and a touchdown. At 6'1 180, Payton is an elusive, high flying target who will go make a play on any ball thrown his direction (including the one he went up and grabbed in pic. 2).
